I recently visited this optical shop with my daughter, and I am absolutely delighted with the level of service we received. We came in as a walk-in, honestly not expecting to be seen right away. To our surprise, they welcomed us immediately without a single minute of waiting. In this day and age, such efficiency is a rare find, especially in healthcare settings. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and greeted us with genuine smiles. The doctor proved to be a true professional who clearly knows how to connect with children. The exam was conducted very thoroughly and in a way that felt like a game. My daughter felt completely settled and comfortable in the doctor's chair. They gave us plenty of time and answered all our concerns regarding her vision. The atmosphere in the shop is very cozy, bright, and welcoming. It is clear that they truly care about every client, whether they have an appointment or just stop by. We received not only a high-quality consultation but also a lot of positive emotions. From now on, we will only come here for eye exams and new glasses. A huge thank you to the team for such a warm welcome and impeccable work. I definitely recommend this place to all parents!

I love Costco however had a very bad experience with Sunset Vision and the optometrist DR. TREVOR KASDEN. I get an eye vision every year and have NEVER had an optometrist rush the appointment like he did. Rush, rush, rush! I felt I was in a factory! Plus he gave me a prescription with less strength than a year ago although I explained how I was having problems seeing far away. He kept saying “blink, blink, blink” while looking at the eye charts. I have dry eyes and I explained how I use XIIDRA and that helps. He never offered to give me a prescription for it and about a month later the prescription I had expired. I called him to prescribe it for me and he said he didn’t write prescriptions. And he referred me to another doctor. What a waste!! Beware if you go there.

If I have a zero copay through Medicare why would you charge me $30? Scheduled me for a second visit before giving prescription. Compared my previous eye exam very little change. Honest?

Wonderful staff all the way around. The doctor took his time and calmly explained things to me and the gentleman that helped me pick my glasses and get me set up was also very patient and kind. I appreciate the amazing customer service.

Pretty disappointed. Showed up for my appointment today and they told me the Dr. was sick today. Can't help that, but when I said they should have called me before I took work off and drove there...they said they did call me. Huh? So, I asked what number they called and they told me they called my cell. I showed them all my calls, missed and taken, on my cell phone this morning and no missed calls from any number that was unknown or from their area code. They didn't call...but now they acted like I am the bad guy because I called them out on it. The doc seemed okay from what I remember from my last appointment a year ago but a crappy staff can lose you clients very quickly and these were definitely crappy staff. So, I booked at another eye doctor center for later today and will not be back to this one. Shame on Costco for associating with this office with such poor service. Not the Costco way.
