In terms of my experience with the staff (MA's, front desk, physician), the experience went pretty well. The first MA I had was not as attentive; I had to repeat a couple things to him. It felt like he was a bit on autopilot rather than being present. The remaining interactions were positive and brief. I had my appointment schedule for 10:10am and wasn't seen by Dr. Shah until shortly after 11am. There were several parts to do before that, so it's not necessarily attributable to just waiting around. Dr. Shah was pretty quick, which was ok with me as I didn't want to delay the appointment further. I was already familiar with the concern from a previous visit with a different physician. I felt comfortable with the suggestions and treatment. The front desk was friendly, and the check out process was quick and smooth. Overall a fairly good experience.

I had a wonderful experience at this doctor's office. Even though it was a very large facility, the entire process was very smooth, a well oiled machine. The tech who did all of the preliminary tests was very sweet and patient and the doctor was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, explaining every step. The only less than stellar comment would be that the front desk staff seemed very busy without much eye contact.
I have to express my extreme frustration and disappointment for this visit. We were early for a 10:10 appointment and waited for 2 hours before being seen. Over the time I have been under the care of eye doctors of Washington I have had exceptional service. We were not informed or notified of the delay. Professional courtesy would have been nice to at least let us know of the delay. We also drove an hour to this office for this appointment. Not happy.
We had the best experience here. It was very easy to get an appointment..My pediatrician recommended an ophthalmology consult due to something popping up on an eye screen photo test. I called several places closer to my house but the soonest anyone could get me in was in 4-5 months! I called here and they fit me in within a week. My 2 year old (who is typically scared of the doctors office) had a great time 😂😂 All the staff here were so wonderful with her. They were so patient and kind despite it being a busy day. Dr. Vicente was very thorough in his work up. I’m so grateful we found this place. I highly recommend for anyone needing an eye doctor, especially for their child.
I love EDOW and Dr. Kenneth Schor is one of the best eye doctors. I have been in EDOW twice and both were great experience from front desk to doctor and nurses. However, I am giving 3 stars because they do not have Patient Portal and EDOW is one the best and largest provider they have 6 locations around DMV. I am still so surprised because I have so many doctors such as my primary doctor, my kids doctors, and all other doctors almost every single doctor that I go from small size clinic to mid size clinics have a Patient Portal. When I ask simple question or request a medical records, I just go their secured patient portal and I do send message. I can see my records and exam results, do payments etc. I highly suggest to EDOW's management to have setup a patient portal. I have to send my question to my doctor through "Contact Us" form which looks very simple and unprofessional. Please invest to a Patient Portal and software. Thank you.
