Poor customer Service – Avoid This Place! I have had nothing but endless trouble with my glasses since purchasing them from this Melbourne Optical Outlet last year. The original fit was terrible—they were constantly falling off my face. When I took them back to be adjusted, the staff used heat to bend the frames. Shortly after this adjustment, a small spot appeared on the lens where the film coating started lifting up. As you can see in the photo, that peeling has now severely progressed across both lenses, completely ruining them. When I visited the branch to address this clear damage caused by their adjustment, the receptionist rudely told me it "was not their problem." She claimed that because I did not purchase a protection plan, my only option was to buy a brand-new pair. She promised that someone from management or the lab would call me after 12:00 PM to discuss it, but I am still waiting for that call. Their lab is completely useless, and the customer service is nonexistent. To the receptionist: you seriously need to develop basic customer service skills and learn how to treat people with the right attitude. I will never use Optical Outlet again. Potential customers need to be aware of their poor workmanship and awful service before spending any money here. Ruth

Awful!!! Just awful!!! I have taken my daughter there since she was 2, she is now 10. They were fantastic until this year. I made an appointment for myself in April using the online booking system. I got there and my appointment was the day before. That was fine but I had a confirmation, they squeezed me in later that day. Today I arrived for an appointment for my daughter that I also made online. This time I called to confirm. I was told yes ma’am your daughter has an appointment for Monday July 27 at 9:45. We get there and nope no appointment is on their schedule and that we can come back on Tuesday at 10. SERIOUSLY? I took today off work and now I would have to take another day of? No Ma’am! Needless to say we got right in my car and made an appointment to be seen in under an hour at another eyeglass super store. They were fantastic and the best part is we left with her glasses in hand and they were much better quality. They were also cheaper! The online scheduling system needs some improvement. You have lost a long time customer to a far superior business. Y’all just need to do better!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jaleesa at Optical Outlet!! She made the entire experience so fun, easy, and stress-free from start to finish. Her energy is incredible, and she truly goes above and beyond to make sure you feel taken care of. The receptionist Rynia is always so sweet. She went above and beyond because my insurance company was being a pain. I will definitely be back next year for my check up. I do wish they had Raybans glasses there but she helped me find a pair while i waited my turn to be seen. Thank you again for your phenomenal service.

The staff has never helped me do anything there. I've been there three times now and I've had three pairs of glasses and they have never once contacted me when they were ready as of now they've been ready for 3 days... So when you order your glasses they will contact you when they come in that has never happened that's why I gave you a one star. The little girl receptionist at the front door where do you sign in at. She is really awesome she's a big help and very friendly
