Eye Health Northwest

This was my first appt with Dr Van de Car & I was very impressed. The Eye Health NW facility was immaculate & the reception staff was great. Dr Van de Car was both personable & professional. He explained things throughout, & answered any questions that I had. They had a great selection of awesome glasses, & staff was really helpful in my finding just the right pair!

Dr. Nisha is the most competent ophthalmologist I have ever encountered. She has impeccable bedside manners, and explains complex concepts with great clarity. It is an unusual combination for a highly trained physician. Very grateful to her and her assistant Juan who is also fantastic

Dr Garrett was fine. He talks fast but that didn’t affect his thoroughness. I will say that the optician (a guy with long black hair and a beard) needs to take a refresher course on polite customer service. I had some questions about contact lens prices and he acted as if I was bothering him. He gave me inaccurate info until asked him to look up the exact price which was $160 more than he quoted me at first. Maybe he was having a bad day.

I came to Dr Nisha for a second opinion. At my first eye examination, I was diagnosed with early stage cataracts. The doctor’s only solution was immediate surgery and told me glasses would be of no use. Dr. Nisha, after evaluating the eye exam and a questionnaire also diagnosed early stage cataracts. She told me glasses would help a great deal and that if the cataracts worsened over time surgery may be necessary. This is a huge difference! Thank you Dr. Nisha!!!!

Dr Nisha is the best! Not only is she thorough in her exams but has a kind and friendly personality. Eye Health NW Lake Oswego is the place to go. Many of my family and friends go there.
