Eye Health of Somerset

Went to appointment. Got told if they do a test it will be $40. Told them I don't have to cancel my appointment. Manager said its trauma and will be covered by insurance if they need to do it. So I stayed. 2 days later got a bill in the mail. Guess how much? $40. I will not go back here. Seems no matter what insurance or anything else they want $40 from.everyone period. Cant even tell me what its for just to pay it. deceitful practices.

It’s 5- 2026. I will say that Dr Murray is the best eye doctor and I’ve been her patient for many years. However recently they said I didn’t pay for my contacts from 2024- I’ve been to her office 3 times since and never heard a word about a bill. I used care credit however I have a receipt from my contacts I paid for in 2024. They say their own employee didn’t submit the payment to Carecredit and now 2 years later I call carecredit and they say that’s it’s their own fault that we don’t go back that long. Now they are threatening me with final payment. I will keep you updated. Update, July. 22 2026. I ve received a letter from debt collector. Will keep you informed of your rights. Also they have tried to charge me for using care credit which is not good. CareCredit says they do not charge for using their services and either should they. I will follow up.

Dr. Murray is so patient, understanding and kind. She listens and spends the time needed to help you with your issues. It is hard to find doctor’s offices with this environment today. Office staff was exceptional as well, from the check-in to the check-out. Best center to help with contact fitting. Exceptional service and will definitely be getting optometry care here in the future here. Highly recommend. Thank you Somerset Eye Health for helping me.

Fantastic experience! The staff was friendly, the exam was thorough, and the doctor really took time to explain everything. You can tell they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend this practice.

Was told to come at 3:50 for an emergency appt. Came. Sat there. In pain. Then was told they cannot see me due to them being an hour behind. I should have been told that. Love the doctors. But this is the first time I’ve had any issues like this.
