Provider and staff are great. Clean and welcome facility. There is a calmness in the main lobby. All of the staff are friendly and professional. Gabriel is the perfect person to prepare the patient for their visit with the physician. He is people oriented and very attentive, professional and kind. An asset to the practice.
I love the convenience, my Doctor and MA are very good. The office staff are always friendly and accommodating. I like i can get my labs done, my ophthalmic needs taken care of and they have therapy and an x-ray department all in one place. Thank you Optum for meeting my needs and expectations.
The OPTUM clinic in Leisure World is very good. It provides with very quick, efficient, and professional service. From doctors, their assistants, to front desk staff, everyone I encountered is very helpful. Its service is better than Keiser Permanent-which is a big fercility , sometimes with long waiting times. Optum’s service is also better than a few private doctors’ clinics that I had before. On 4/5/2026 Sunday, I broke my wrist, the next day I went to Optum for appointment, Dr. Tang immediately took care of me, referring to a specialist. The next day an orthopedist saw me. I was treated in good time. When Dr. Chun is available, she quickly referred me to an endocrinologist. When the busy Wrist Therapy Department in Orthopedic facility delayed my therapy, Dr. Chun immediately referred me to another facility. Everyone in this Optum gives me timely professional service and help . I really appreciate them. I recommend this Optum clinic with all my heart!
My experience with Optum was very positive. I have just switched over from Kaiser and have Scan. This was my first visit at Optum Seal Beach and I must say everyone was very nice!! I was called in right away. The nurse who took my info & vitals was very friendly & professional. The Dr. was also very friendly, professional and actually listened & emphasized!! I would definitely recommend Optum Seal Beach to my friends here at Leisure World!!
Dr Tang is wonderful! I am frustrated with everything else. The phone system is HORRIBLE!, There is no option to return a call from staff. Crazy I’ve tried to return a call all week related to important paperwork. I’ve been hung up on 3 times (phone system). I’ve been on hold for over 30 min several times and not connected. The only human contact is the appt option, but they ask about 10 questions each time I call but I never get connected. Finally I went to the office and waited 40 min to speak with staff, which never happened. Argh
