I’ve been coming here for many many year’s and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I started to come here when I was young with my family, and my family still comes here. Everyone is always friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They take the time to answer questions, explain everything thoroughly, and make every visit a great experience. Over the years, I’ve been so happy with the care I’ve received that I recently started bringing my husband here as well, and he loves it too. It’s not often that you find a practice that consistently provides such exceptional care year after year. If you’re looking for an eye doctor who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly cares I highly recommend this office. They have earned my loyalty for nearly two decades, and I wouldn’t trust my eyes with anyone else!

I went to Optyx after my union changed my insurance so I didn’t see my usual company I use custom eyes. My insurance covers frames and lenses for free but I like to get lenses that change in daylight to sunglasses and at night you don’t have glare from headlights. At custom eyes they were $200 for the lenses and frames so on my new plan I don’t see custom eyes so I go to Optyx in port Jeff station on 112 they were the closest. I get exam done and ask for the same lenses I have used before she tells me $400 I say they’re usually $200 she says well prices went up I have no other choice at the time so I pay it. This year custom eyes so up exams are the same and yes the lenses are STILL $200. So I’ll never go there again!!!

OPTYX was recommended to me when I was searching for a new doctor. My first appointment at this office was a pleasure. From the thorough eye exam to picking out my new glasses. I would definitely recommend.
