Eye Surgery Associates – Pembroke Pines

I had a great experience at this ophthalmology office. The wait time was reasonable, and both the front desk and medical staff were friendly and courteous. Dr. Nahmias was thorough in addressing my concerns, prescribed the appropriate medications for my condition, and scheduled a follow-up visit to ensure I was responding well to the treatment regimen. I truly appreciated the attentive care and highly recommend this office.

Dr. Guy Angela is an exceptional physician. I have been a patient of his for 16 years, having started under his care at the age of 31. His dedication and passion for educating his patients are truly commendable. I also wish to acknowledge the outstanding team of professionals who support him. Despite relocating to Texas nearly eight years ago, I continue to travel to his practice for consultations and second opinions when necessary, and I am always warmly welcomed. My sincere gratitude to the entire team at Eye Associate Surgery for their exemplary service.

The doctor and staff here were great overall — everyone was kind, patient, and good with my son. But I can't give 5 stars because the office itself felt noticeably dirty, especially for a pediatric medical facility. The carpets looked heavily soiled and like they hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time, the walls had a visible black dirt film buildup on them, stickers were peeling off everywhere, and several chairs looked stained. There was also no hand sanitizer left in the sanitizer dispensers when we were there. At one point, there was a young child putting his mouth directly on the armrest of the chairs, which really highlighted how important cleanliness and sanitizing is in a children’s office. This is a pediatric office with babies and young children touching everything, so it really should be deep cleaned and sanitized daily. The medical care itself was good, but the office could definitely use better cleaning and upkeep to match the quality of the doctors and staff. Hopefully we didn't catch anything.

Very organized and professional office. Office staff is courteous and each part of the exam flows seamlessly. Dr. Adams is very thorough- explains and answers questions. He went the extra mile for me today as it was my first visit. I feel blessed to have found this office.

The location and schedules are very convenient. Unfortunately the medical attention and care is really poor. The actual doctor spent with us less than 3 minutes by clock, he didn’t even listen to my concerns or check my son’s vision, which got worse from the year before. They just printed last year prescription and changed the date because they were in a rush… now, I have to get another appointment with a real professional to get my son’s eyes properly checked and pay out of pocket since they use his annual benefit. I do not recommend this place if you need eye care!
