Made a 40+ minute drive after seeing that Eye To Eye had a Saturday appointment available because I needed my contact lens prescription renewed. After checking in, I waited about 15–20 minutes before being taken back for the initial testing. Once that was finished, I was told to return to the waiting room and that the doctor would see me shortly. About 40 more minutes passed. During that time, a child came out with a family member, and I overheard them tell another woman in the waiting room with a child, “You’re next.” She then got up and followed the doctor to the exam room. My issue wasn’t the wait itself. I work in healthcare, and I understand that delays and unexpected situations happen. My frustration was the complete lack of communication. Other than being called back for the initial testing, no one acknowledged the delay. A simple, “Thank you for your patience,” or, “We’re running behind and apologize for the wait,” would have gone a long way. Instead, I sat there for over an hour with no updates whatsoever. Additionally, one of the front desk employees (older if the two working today) should be more mindful of the conversations taking place in such a small waiting room. Some of the comments being made to another employee were not appropriate for a customer-facing area. Nothing explicit or offensive was said, but there were internal complaints and audible frustration about customers not understanding their vision insurance. I understand that employees vent from time to time, but a waiting room full of patients is not the appropriate place to do it. After waiting over an hour with no communication, I finally told the staff I had to leave. I never saw the doctor, never received the contact lens prescription renewal I came for, and I’m still stuck wearing my glasses until I can find another provider. What should have been a routine appointment ended up costing me approximately 2.5 hours of my Saturday, including the drive, with nothing to show for

Highly recommend this office! I was greeted immediately and my insurance coverage was reviewed with me as soon as I checked in. The charges were explained and given upfront. They were very clear about what was covered and what costs extra. There was no pressure. Dr. Herman was very throughout and was great at explaining the testing and the corrections that could be made for my concerns (driving at night, blurred vision). She even taught my daughter who accompanied me! I found Dr. Herman to be very personable and knowledgeable. She was able to correct my vision to the best I’ve had yet with contacts (20+ years). During check out my coverage was explained regarding the cost of contacts and the staff was extremely helpful with getting me the best rate! I am thankful I found this office!
Dr Maggie Herman was excellent. She was very personable & took time with me. She did not make me feel rushed at all. Congratulations on hiring such a great optometrist. I will definitely make sure she will be my Dr next year when I schedule my exam.
Had a great first time experience here today. Maggie was friendly, explained contacts very well (i was skeptical). The front desk associates are very friendly. The woman who did the first few tests extremely friendly and polite. Pricing was explained well and they gave me options. I like that I can try contacts before committing to them. I went to Lenscrafters after for my glasses (these are 2 separate businesses in one spot) great service by Corine (I think that was her name) she didnt rush me on finding frames, lots of choices. She took her time with me checking pricing for me and making sure my measurements for my lenses were perfect. Thank you all!
Had a great experience with this office today. Both the receptionist and Dr.Keating were very kind and patient with helping my daughter go through her trial process for contacts and managed to help her feel comfortable and confident with using them. Would recommend.
