The eye exam was thorough and conducted with all the latest equipment. With Dr. Wilkins at the helm the result was a pair of glasses that allow me to see better then ever. Josh was a great help choosing frames and explaining tinting variations of the sunglasses. The woman who did the fitting/adjusting of the frames did a tremendous job. Everyone is so friendly, I truly enjoyed the experience.

Had a great experience here yesterday with the doctors seeing my teenage son for severe eye pain. Both doctors were very patient, knowledgeable. My son is already starting to feel relief. We are so happy we found great eye care right in our area. Beautiful inside as well.
I love Dr Wilkins, but after years of them willingly giving me the pd numbers for my son’s and my prescriptions, they are now telling me I need to come back in and they are going to charge me $20 per person. I guess next year we find a different eye dr. 🤷♀️
Dr Scott & the whole staff were amazing with our kids. I have been to lots of eye exams and he made it fun, informative and helpful. I highly recommend!
I saw Dr. Wilkins for a few years because I believed that he was nice and honest. However, the last time I went to get my yearly eye examination, there was a problem with the prescription. I went get new eye glasses and lenses with his prescription but I could not see correctly. I went to try to get re-examined but had the worst experience ever. The lady dealing with me told me every excuse possible from I hadn't worn my glasses long enough, the doctor's calendar was busy, to my glasses weren't fitted right. In all of this, 3 months passed, before they finally said they'd give me an appointment to see the doctor. They were charging me $75 re-examination fee. Then they said $45. I did not agreed to doing that purely on principle and them acting in bath faith. I told them to give me a generic prescription that combined the previous year, with the current. The lady told me 3 times they would send it to me within 24 hours and didn't send it. I had to file a complaint with the North Carolina Board of Examiners in Optometry. It was until then they they called me, not to apologize or offer a re-test, but to email me a generic prescription. They did not even have the decency to have the lady I had been dealing with call me, or better yet, the doctor. They had the front desk person tell me "they wanted me to tell you that we are emailing you the prescription". The purpose of this post to share my experience. I would not recommend this place simply because if they make a mistake, they will not help you or assume responsibility.
