Great eye exam and acknowledgment of the changes with my eyes. Able to find optical prescription to improvement my ability to read and see. I’ve been with them for years, however this is my first post. For me to go into the office to ask a question, wanting to set up an appointment for my annual exam, getting an appointment three hours on the same day. I have never experienced this level of customer service from any medical/optical office. Impressed does not give the professional staff true appreciation for all they do. My first time seeing the optician who has great bedside manner. Thank you for my experience during the visit.

I have been coming here for many years. At first, it was convenient because I worked nearby. However, I developed a huge confidence in Dr. Johnson, and even after leaving PTC, I still make the drive!
I’m giving this office 2 stars because my experience today was disappointing and unprofessional. I came in for a routine eye exam and was repeatedly told by the front desk that retinal imaging was required and that I had to pay a $39 copay for it. A retinal scan is not required for a standard exam, and patients have every right to decline optional testing done on their bodies. Despite that, they continued insisting it was mandatory. I finally just ignored them and sat back down. When I saw the doctor, I simply refused it — and the exam went on without any issue. That confirmed it was never actually required in the first place despite what the 4 front desk ladies were trying to say. Seems like they were just pushing it because it brings in more revenue. What bothered me even more was how the front desk staff behaved after I politely declined. They were sitting behind the desk whispering about me and looking over at me while I was literally sitting right there. Their attitude toward me noticeably changed the moment I exercised my right to refuse an optional procedure. It felt unprofessional, uncomfortable, and unnecessary. I felt so awkward and really hated being there. Patients deserve respect, honesty, and professionalism — especially when they’re making informed decisions about their own care. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience today. Needless to say I’ll be finding a new eye doctor!
EyeCare Plus was fabulous when I had a medical emergency. They got me in quickly and referred me to a specialist, who was able to see me the same day. Through it all, everyone in the office was incredibly kind, calm, and helpful. I have only had positive experiences with this practice, but their service during this minor emergency was especially impressive.
G-Double-O-D…J-O-B…Good Job! Good Job! Kudos to the entire Eye Care Plus Team. My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences with them through the years. I recently had an eye exam, and the excellence and top notch customer service is still in place. From the extremely cordial front desk staff to the optical team in the rear, all of the eye doctors, technicians, and other professionals, everyone operates with the utmost professionalism and hospitable attitude. THANK YOU ALL!
