My daughter went to this location to get her glasses and contacts prescription. They went over the cost up front; $10 for an eye exam and $39 for the retinal scan with our insurance. But when she got the final bill they had charged her for the contact fitting. $90 with our insurance. If this had been discussed up front it would be understandable. This was never discussed at the beginning or when the doctor asked if she wanted to be fitted. So today when I went to get my glasses and contacts prescription I asked up front what the cost would be. Once again I was told $10 and $39. When Dr. Hung asked about the fitting for daily contacts I asked if this was going to be an extra charge. He said yes, $90. So I said I did not want to do it, because that was not discussed with me up front. They would not give me my contact prescription because of that. They have the prescription, but they won't give it to me. They said it's because they need to test the health of my eyes with the fitting, but that is what the retinal scan is for. They said they "forgot" to tell me about the contact fitting fee. But this is the second time this has happened to someone in my family. Once is a mistake. Twice is purposefully deceptive. Just know up front that they will not tell you there is a fee for a contact fitting. Even when you ask. Once you have had the fitting then they add it to the bill. Once again, I'm happy to pay it if it is discussed up front, but adding it onto the bill at the end without mentioning the fitting charge puts a bad taste in my mouth.

I saw Dr. Barnett today for an eye exam for a new Rx but also for an eyelid issue. He was without a doubt the most knowledgeable optometrist I’ve had. He took so much time to explain the condition and options for treatment. I will definitely be using him in the future! The whole staff was also welcoming and kind.
When I picked up my glasses today, the two ladies who gave wrong information about getting glasses fortunately I went back and a very knowledgeable young man knew right away what was wrong with my prescription he contacted my doctor and he updated the RX and was able to purchase my glasses When I came in today one lady was talking to a friend barely looked up the other got my glasses, ask if I can see never checked if they sat right on my face .Gave a cheap plastic case and this wss it. I feel like the glasses need to be adjusted tight around the ears. I will go back if the other staff is working. Very disappointed.
I've gotten my eye exams and glasses here a few times over the years now, and it's one of the best experiences I've had with both. The receptionists are friendly, the exams are quick, and the techs and doctors are very efficient and thorough. Loni helped me each time when picking out my frames, and she is a delightful person.
Worst experience ever with the eye doctor, Mr. Wong, and the front desk staff. I took my 9-year-old son for an eye exam at this center, and the experience was extremely disappointing. My child has had high astigmatism since birth, and his cylindrical power has remained stable for years. Despite this well-documented history, the doctor suddenly changed his cylindrical prescription. When I questioned this change and tried to understand the reasoning behind it, both the doctor and the front desk were dismissive and rude. The only response I received was, “This is what it is.” No explanation, no reassurance, and absolutely no concern for a child’s eye health. What was even more shocking was that they casually said they could just give the old prescription back if I wanted, as if my child’s vision and eye care didn’t matter at all. That level of carelessness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable—especially when dealing with a young child.
