Highly recommend! They were thorough and clearly communicated what was happening and were upfront with costs. There were no surprises. The people were friendly and things went very smoothly. When my glasses went on back order, they let me know right away and gave me good options. I am very happy with the services and products provided!

Two years ago I received an eye exam at Eyecare Specialties and was told I needed progressive lenses and was advised they take a while to adjust to. So I put in time and effort to adjust to them, though they made me nauseous and caused me eye pain. I ultimately called to let them know it wasn’t working out and I believed my prescription was wrong. I was told it wouldn’t be worth it to come in for another exam because I’d have to pay out of pocket for that. So I waited the full year before having my eyes checked again by a different provider in their office, who suggested we adjust my prescription slightly and take it down in intensity. I gave that one a go and had the same issue, only this time the left lens caused an addition of blurry vision. I asked again for another evaluation and was told the doctor didn’t feel I needed to be seen again and instead to have the optician make whatever adjustments might help. After multiple attempts with the optician it was suggested that I simply accept bifocals as the answer without any change to my prescription. The sighs of exasperation and shrugs from the staff told me they didn’t care to try to help me any further and felt there was nothing left they could do. I was far too frustrated after spending close to $800 in their office to continue on with them. I’ve now paid out of pocket to see a different doctor who confirmed my prescription was inaccurate. In fact, the technician advised me my sight with the glasses from Eyecare Specialties was so bad he wouldn’t recommend I operate a motor vehicle while using them. And her optician was quite kind and reassuring, I now have had success with my progressive lenses. Edit to add: Eyecare Specialties replied to this review requesting I email them to discuss my experience. I have emailed them twice now. Crickets, zero response from any management there. This is my shocked face 😒

Dr. Rogge is awesome—very personable, easy to talk to and I felt she was super thorough with my exam. The staff at EyeCare are all professional and kind, and while they’re very efficient with the way they get you through the process, I never felt rushed when it came to choosing frames or asking about pricing options.
