I rarely leave reviews, but in this case I feel it is necessary. I needed a prescription for contact lenses. During my visit, the clinic performed an eye exam, but in the end I only received a prescription for glasses because they did not have the necessary trial contact lenses in stock. Despite this, I paid the full amount for the service in cash, even though the service was not fully completed. We had a translator present during the appointment because I do not speak English well. For the first time, I experienced a situation where I had to constantly ask the doctor myself for basic information: what my prescription was, when the lenses would arrive, what the expected timeline was, etc. It felt like the doctor was not interested in properly consulting or informing the patient. The result: — my appointment was on April 21, and I still do not have my contact lens prescription; — I was misled about the waiting time, as the doctor told me the lenses would arrive within two weeks, but it has already been more than three weeks; — a few days ago I contacted the clinic again asking for an update on the timeline, but nobody has responded to me. As a result, not only my time and nerves were wasted, but also my money, because now I will most likely need to find another doctor, repeat the entire examination process, and pay for the procedure again. Am I disappointed? Yes. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic to new patients.

I had a wonderful experience at this eyecare center! The staff is incredibly professional and the doctors are very thorough with their exams. They have a great selection of frames and the office is clean and modern. It’s so convenient having such a high-quality clinic right here in Indian Trail. Highly recommend for anyone needing an eye exam or new glasses.
My first time here. My exam went great. The rep helping me pick out glasses was great but when I picked up my glasses well I got a cheap case no cleaning cloth and for what I paid I would have thought they provided something. Over all satisfied with my glasses
I am writing to formally share my concern regarding my recent experience at your eye care center. I previously had a routine eye examination at your location. My eyes were checked, and no major issues were identified. I was given a prescription; however, I was not offered or recommended glasses at your location and was instead advised to visit another location to have them made, despite having good insurance coverage. Following this, I had my glasses made at Target Optical. Unfortunately, I experienced discomfort and issues with the prescription, including eye pain. Based on Target Optical’s recommendation, I scheduled a follow-up appointment at your same eye care center to have my eyes rechecked, which I understand is standard practice when patients experience issues with a prescription. During this follow-up visit, I waited for nearly two hours expecting to be seen by the doctor. Instead, I was asked several questions but was never examined by the doctor. Ultimately, I was handed the exact same prescription as before, without any re-evaluation, despite clearly explaining the discomfort I was experiencing. This experience was disappointing and does not align with the level of care I have received at other eye care locations. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and the overall treatment—especially given that I have good insurance—was extremely unsatisfactory. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this location. I would appreciate a direct response regarding this matter and clarification on why standard recheck procedures were not followed. And on top of that I received my appointment got canceled. On while I was personally at the location.
I’ve been very happy with EyeCareCenter for the past 2+ years. They are serious about meeting the needs of their patients and providing a friendly environment!
