TL;DR: Five stars for Dr. Boyd - zero stars for the business. Final update 7/9: I spoke to Dr. Boyd and Terry. Both were very kind and apologetic. Terry assured me that the issues I encountered were addressed. My money was refunded. I thought it was over and done with, but I was then asked to remove my review because "A review with 1 star reflects on the entire office." Although they did the right thing in the end and I appreciate that, my review accurately reflects my experience and doing the right thing in the end does not negate my overall experience. I have been a patient of Dr. Boyd for many years. I recently had the opportunity to see her at her new location. The office is in a great location with plenty of parking. It is beautiful inside. As always, Dr. Boyd was very personable and knowledgeable. She offered me a variety of options for treatment. I trust her with my eye care, which is why I followed her to her new location. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd, but if I were you, I would fill your prescription elsewhere. I was seen by Dr. Boyd on April 27, where I received my prescription and selected frames. At that time, I expressed concern about sizing, as the frames came in two sizes. I was reassured that if they did not fit properly, a larger size could be ordered. Unfortunately, the experience since then has been frustrating and unresolved: • I never received the promised notification (text or email) that my glasses were ready and had to call to check on the status. • The initial frames were too small, even after adjustments, causing discomfort and headaches. • When I returned to request the larger size, the interaction with staff was dismissive, and my concerns were not adequately addressed. • The replacement glasses were made incorrectly, and I was unable to see properly with them. • During a follow-up visit, I overheard internal discussions about whether my issue could even be addressed, which was concerning. • Adjustments made to the new frames were excessive and rendered them unwearable, requiring me to visit another business for correction. As of today, July 6, I still have not received any notification regarding the remade lenses, and it has been over two months since my initial visit. Throughout this process, there has been a lack of communication, urgency, and customer care. Update: I received a call July 6 (after posting my review and sending an email) and was told that my lenses have not even been made yet. The sheer incompetence of this business is astounding.

I have been a patient of Dr. Craig Swaim for many years. He is terrific. He even helped one of my parents many years ago. Last weekend I fell and did serious damage to my eyeglasses and potential damage to one eye. This practice was able to work me in on Monday morning to examine my eye. Most appreciative.
Dr. Craig Swaim has taken care of my family's eye care needs for over 30 years. He is fantastic at determining what contacts or glasses are best for you and at what power. His professionalism and kindness is a testament to who he is as a person. I highly recommend him and his optometry practice!
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Swaim and the entire staff. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, patient, and professional. The doctor took time to explain everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. I never felt rushed, and the care I received was outstanding. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for thorough, compassionate eye care.
I met Dr. Boyd for the first time. She really listened to me and took the time to help me determine which contacts were best for my vision. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd!
