I think that Dr. Dunn is wonderful. Very accommodating when I was in need of the earliest appointment available for my 2 year old daughter. He contacted me immediately on a Saturday to see her the following Monday. Thank you!

Didn't work for me. My new glasses were unwearable! After multiple return trips to get my trifocals lenses adjusted, I gave up and went to Rainbow Optics, who verified that the lenses did not match the prescription. Perhaps they do all right on single vision lenses, but I would strongly recommend against a more complex visual corrective lens to be done here. Furthermore: "wholesale"?? I found the exact brand of frame online for over $100 less than I paid. Think about it!

Hi Folks: My name is Dr. Dunn and I am the owner of Eyeglass Wholesale, A small Optometry practice in Springfield, Or. A patient recently brought to my attention unfavorable comments about my practice and thought that I should respond. A couple of years ago someone apparently came to me for replacement contact lenses and felt that they were unjustly charged for a followup visit. He also complained that washing facilities were not available.. Let me explain. I (and most other eye care practitioners) can not prescribe a lens which I have not seen on that person's eye. Contact lenses can limit the normal performance of the eye and observing the eyes through a microscope after several weeks wear is the only way to insure a safe fit. This supplementary examination is not included in the usual eye exam and an additional fee is charged. Every one scheduled for a new contact lens fit with this office is made aware of this fee in advance. I have two well equipped examination rooms, and a handwashing sink is available in each room. In addition to the sinks a bottled hand sanitizer is available to everyone in each room. I have to admit to a few gray hairs, and yes I am old school. I earned my Optometry Doctorate in 1976, and have kept up to date through continuing medical education annually exceeding the minimum requirement for this state. I like to think that my gray hairs actually give me an edge on the younger practitioners since I have seen and successfully treated eye condition for over 30 years. We have thousands of patients who return periodically for eye examinations and glasses, or contacts. We are in a unique position to provide eyewear quickly since we have our own on premises lens grinding laboratory. I constantly receive compliments about the friendly and helpful nature of our staff. I am proud of the quality of services we offer and I invite you to join our ever growing number of satisfied patients.

Dr Dunn is an excellent optometrist, and very friendly. He is genuinely interested in his patients, and great with kids too.

Had a good experience here, found it by random, but I was very happy when all was said and done. The doctor was really good with kids and the whole staff was good to deal with.
