They did not have a trial pair of the multi-focal contact lenses I was prescribed during my exam so I was given a distance only pair to wear until my prescription came in. Because of this, it wasn't possible to know that the prescription wasn't right for me until I opened the new box and used a pair. When I called to tell them my eyes were really strained and that text was blurry, they told me to come back in for another exam. I had a different doctor and a different and better prescription. They are charging me for the new contacts because the other box with the incorrect prescription was opened. Even though they never gave me the correct trial pair! I will never go back! I have to pay for their mistake.

I went in to Eyeglass world in January of 2026. Had I known I would be paying the same price to be seen via telehealth as I would a human I never would have continued with my appointment, it wasn’t until I was in the chair waiting on the “eye doctor” that this was brought to my attention. By that point I was already going to be charged for the appointment so I decided to go through with it. Cut to April, and after seeing a new eye doctor, it was brought to my attention that the headaches and nausea I’ve been experiencing has been because of a misdiagnosis of the prescription in my right eye. It’s impacted my vision while reading, living my life in general, and most worrisome while driving. I tried to get them to make it right by offering me a new prescription but the best they were able to offer me was free lenses into frames I already had but only after I pay AGAIN for an appointment. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to trust them again with my prescription and since they were not willing to work with me on anything I suggested I will never use their services again, nor will any of my loved ones who seek vision care. I do not recommend this office.
Here’s a polished review you can submit: ⸻ I want to recognize the team at Eyeglass World in Longview on Eastman Road for an outstanding experience. Every staff member I encountered was supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. I initially came in to purchase a new pair of glasses because I love having variety — and I’m honestly a little nervous about ordering glasses online. After I made my first selection, Emily S. let me know about a promotion that allowed me to use my insurance toward a second pair at a deep discount. I appreciated her taking the time to explain that option so clearly. I left with my first pair on order and planned to return the next day to choose the second pair with the help of Carter, David, and Day as my judge panel. Just as Emily said, I received a text notification the very next day. When I arrived to pick up my frames, I selected my second pair while waiting. I’ve been enjoying my new glasses all weekend and can’t wait to see what my next pair looks like! I was extremely pleased with the entire process — from communication to customer care. I will absolutely be telling my friends and coworkers about this location. Blind as a Bat, Charity N. 👓
Can't say enough good things about Sarah! She adjusted my glasses and was so knowledgeable and courteous. Great customer service!
Was able to get what I need for an affordable price so thankful they were very helpful in choosing good frames and was able to use my insurance too.
