The only reason this Eyeland is getting a low rating is because of mismanagement at the front of the office. Non of what the office managers told me makes any sense. So I went to the doctor and had my eyes examined in late December, I got fitted for glasses and monthly contacts. Everything was going well and I must say my doctor was very pleasant and easy to talk too, she answered all my questions professionally and politely. After going the required time I went back for the follow up exam with some slight adjustments to my contacts lenses for distance. The doctor put in the order for the new trial contacts with the new prescription. After picking up the lenses and trying them the prescription was right so, I asked the office manager about ordering daily lenses because I had talked to the doctor about that option at the time. The office manager told me what the cost was and that the doctors had made a note to try the daily’s. After thinking about the cost after paying for the glasses and contacts I asked if we could hold off for the time being. A short time later my frames to my glasses broke ,taking them out of the case provided with the glasses changing from contacts to my glasses. So I took them back in to be repaired, are you surprised that the frames were out of warranty but, I paid $250 to be repaired. At that point I again asked about the daily contacts and wanted to try them out. The office manager said I couldn’t because it was past the six months from my exam and I needed to wait to get a trial when I had the new exam. So I dropped the idea manly because I wanted to do some more research. At that time I reminded the office manager that the doctor had made a note for me to try the daily contacts after the second prescription adjustment was put in. That was well within the six months of exam. The office manager said it didn’t work that way and the initial exam was the date you needed to go by, so your prescription is not perfect and you are still adjusting this prescription and if it got adjusted five months and twenty nine days later good luck. Anyway I went home and was informed that my frames were in and I could pick them up. I went back in and did that, at that time I asked the office manager about buying a three month supply of the daily contacts and she told me I couldn’t buy them until I saw the doctor and had a new exam. Non of this made any sense because the doctor made the note saying that I try them. If I could try them how was I not fitted already ?The office manager said it was past the six months time frame and I had to have another exam. I asked what the exam would cost. Amazing another $150 and if you order a six months supply of the daily contacts, we will give you a really good deal. You know Eyeland, my wife is a really good judge of character and good business practice. She did not like the fact that a piece of equipment that took readings for her eye exam was broken and the doctor used some other less competent was of measurement. Like I told the office manager on my exit. We are not coming back because of the pore business practice and warranty of the frames, her answer to me was. Oh so it was the contacts and now you are bringing up the frames as well. Exactly Bruce Deaver I hope this information helps a person that has a good eye doctor, stay with them and don’t make this mistake, Eyeland in Mount Joy, Pa is not worth the aggravation

I should have given this review MONTHS ago but life got in the way! This place was great! However, I wasn't so sure at first. The scheduler was friendly and accommodating of my work schedule. The exam was fine. Eye doctor was nice. Mary, the manager was very helpful finding the style of frames I was looking for at a price I was comfortable with, etc. Then came the snag. The vendor took FOREVER getting the order to them (me). First it was lost on route (UPS) Then they reordered it, and it was back ordered. However, Mary kept after it for me like a bloodhound. I could have got a refund but I really liked the glasses. When all was said and done, the order finally came in. Mary went to her manager and they agreed to refund half my purchase price. In the end, complete customer satisfaction. Hopefully they won't silently dread to see me darken their doorway as a customer again.

I have taken my kids here for the past two years. The office staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. The eye doctors also do a great job! The last time we were there my daughter saw Dr. Miranda Maney who was fantastic! She really took her time and gave a thorough eye exam and came down to my daughters level. My daughter absolutely loved Dr. Maney and I was beyond pleased with her. She went above and beyond and did a great job! Awesome experience from start to finish! Top notch practice!

I went to this eyeglass place recently, and honestly, the customer service wasn’t great. The two women at the desk belittled me and made me feel dumb for asking questions, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and honestly made me lose interest in purchasing anything there. They were not friendly at all and didn’t seem interested in helping, almost like they were rushing me or just didn’t care. On the bright side, the guy at the front desk was really nice! He had actually helped me schedule my appointment the weekend before and was super polite during my visit. He genuinely seemed like he wanted to help, which I really appreciated. If the rest of the staff were more like him, I think it would’ve been a way better experience. It’d be great if they put more effort into making customers feel welcome instead of dismissed.
