Eyemart Express

Poor customer service. I arrived 9 minutes late, still within the stated 10-minute grace period and was told I could not be seen. There was no clear communication about the policy, even after calling to ask. He kept deflecting and talking about the next patients appointment times instead of answering the question clearly. The staff showed very little understanding or professionalism regarding the inconvenience. Instead of trying to accommodate me as a new patient or offering a later appointment time that day, the front desk immediately tried to push my appointment out to Tuesday. What made the experience even more frustrating was seeing an 11 AM appointment available online for the very next day. The only reason I’m returning is because of the new patient offer. Otherwise, after this experience, I would not come back.

We were new customers. We had never been to an Eyemart Express before. We always bought directly from our eye doctor office. Misty waited on us and was amazing! She walked us through every step. She handled an insurance issue flawlessly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! She's the reason we will be back. We love our glasses and the prices were great as well.

I had a fantastic experience at Eyemart Express in Hickory, NC! The customer service was great — everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the whole process easy. The prices are excellent, especially compared to where I used to go. I used to get my glasses at Graystone Eye Care in Hickory, and even with my VSP vision insurance, I always ended up paying $200 or more for a single pair of glasses. At Eyemart Express, I used the same insurance and got a pair of glasses AND prescription sunglasses for only $91 out of pocket! I highly recommend Eyemart Express in Hickory, NC for anyone looking for quality eyewear, great prices, and amazing customer service.

I have purchased eyeglasses from Eyemart Express in the past. I've always had a good experience but today I am compelled to leave a review. I am so thankful for the kindness and compassion from a team member named Emily. My friend was snowed in and had broken his glasses during the ice storm. He had tried everything to repair the glasses but they were broken in a way that not even tape could hold them together. With an extreme prescription he cannot do much of anything without glasses. Our original mission was to purchase resin or UV nailpolish or something for a temporary repair until his new glasses arrived which is more than a week away. (superglue wasn't working). I remembered the good experiences I have always had at Eyemart Express so we decided to stop in. Our request was simply to see if they could do some sort of temporary repair to make his glasses wearable. Emily went above and beyond our request and was able to find a pair of discarded frames for the lenses. She was so kind and helpful and a true hero in this situation. Thank you Emily! You truly made a difference in our lives with your problem solving and kindness. 10/10. I cannot recommend Eyemart Express enough!
