Wow. Just wow. Speechless. I have never experienced such a horrific treatment byany doctor in my whole life. The male OD doctor ( David Tai) here is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL . Please note this review is not for any front of the house staff because they are all very friendly and welcoming plus the exterior and interior of the store look nice as well. This review is specifically for the doctor whose name is David. Very unprofessional, it's not a big deal when there is no greeting but he is checking on his phone constantly while doing my eye exam, and became very hostile when I had questions regarding my prescription. While I am trying to understand the situation, his attitude is basically "do whatever you feel like. I just want to be done with you" I felt threatened by this eye doctor. I was in shock and disbelief when I left the store. I am not saying this is a bad place to go, you might have a better experience with a different doctor. But this David is absolutely horrific. If he is having a bad day and cannot maintain the professionalism it's better to take the day off. I am trying to understand this whole situation but find it's very hard to.

I had a very good experience here, and found a pair of contemporary frames that I really liked, made in Japan, for a reasonable price. I was only in NYC for 7 days, and was surprised when they told me it would be ready in 6 days. They checked my eyes right away against my current prescription, and the optometrist quickly and efficiently adjusted my prescription per my request to make my progressives slightly more sharp for the table work that I do. On the 4th or 5th day I checked in with them to make sure they would be ready the day before I departed and there was an issue with getting them in on time. The manager then went out of her way to literally drive to New Jersey to pick up my glasses, so as not to risk the shipment being delayed! I truly appreciate the excellent service and them keeping their word, as I was flying back to Hawaii the next day. The prescription and fitting were stellar, and they gave me a nice discount too. I will definitely return here as a happy customer!
Horrible products and services . My husband and I bought two pairs of glasses . Was told two weeks I have to keep calling them and one time they said they were not sure why they hadn’t received the glasses , then after multiple calls they said there was a delay. After a month of waiting , we got the glasses on the mail. One pair broken upon arrival . When I went to the store they charged me $30 for shipping charge to the supplier . Then 4 months later my husbands pair broke on the arm. Totally upset . We paid 1k for the glasses . It’s not acceptable . They are not professional and quality is worst than bad . After sale service I would give them zero stars if I can.
Absolutely grateful to the young lady helping my family member find a new pair of glasses! Very helpful, respectful and supportive. The eye store is cozy, neat and decorative! Thank you to the team today 1/7/2026.
I had been going to this place for couple years already and each time I go my glasses surpass $1000, and I think is worth it base on the only brand I used Paul Vosheront, and always satisfied, I am always helped by Niki and other staffs are so friendly also, I go there every couple months to realignment and they are all so helpful, I don’t deny some sales are aggressive but if you don’t want it no one can force you to buy it, and wearing glasses for so many years and have been going so many eyewear store in the past, all glasses takes min 2 weeks,,, so the bad reviews here are not being fair to the store, so far this is the best one I ever found that’s why I still go here and get glasses , as for the male eye doctor yes his kinda of rude that I agreed but I caught him while his having lunch so I don’t blame him, but the female eye doctor is the sweetest lady ever, you can go to Cohens the largest chain store sometimes you going get the same service, every store has these kind of people, it cannot be avoided,, but overall I recommend this store because the price and variety choices, as for insurance no insurance in NY is fully reimbursable learn my lesson at Cohens years ago, and they charge you for exam even when you purchase glasses from them, Niki is very helpful already because at least this store is willing take the extra steps to call the insurance company when something goes wrong,
