Came in for new lenses, had to go to another optometrist to confirm that eyes on you handed them back unchanged (they blamed my prescription when my glasses felt off). Brought in a gifted pair of glasses May 15 for new lenses because the optical center was too low for me. Was told 2 to 3 weeks. They finished Jul 3rd. When I picked them up, the optical center still seemed too low. Staff re-measured my pupils and sent the glasses back again. Another 2 weeks and the same problem. They suggested my prescription might be off (barely changed in 3 years) or that I needed time to adjust. Brought the glasses to site for sore eyes and their equipment confirmed the optical center was still along the midline meaning completely unchanged. They offered to fix it (in 30min!) but my insurance had already been used by eyes on you. At this point I have no idea if they're even working on the lenses or just shelving them, waiting a few weeks to text me, and hoping I don't notice. Today marks 2 months since "2 to 3 weeks."

Honestly don't go here if you're Asian with small eyes, Dr. Dragon straight up told me I have really small eyes and made me feel really self-conscious and uncomfortable. The lady at the reception desk is really sweet though, but seems pretty overworked because the staff there never pick up the phone. Took over a month to get my glasses because they didn't tell me they were ready and I had to go in person to bug them about it.
Geeeeze, where to start. Charges a ton but refuses to provide an invoice after I asked multiple times. Felt rushed through the exam. Got my glasses and they just never felt right. I went to my previous optometrist and he diagnosed me with bilateral astigmatism’s. I actually only have one. And the one he did diagnose he was off by 3x the actual measurement. I did not like the lenses and he outsources to lensecrafters. If you got your expensive glassses or lenses from him, in the light that “lensecrafters” is in lazer writing on the lense. He was polite enough but is short, dismissive, arrogant and not easy to approach. I have read his response to other reviews like mine and he tends to attack the customer in his dialogue. Probably rooted in insecurity or general shadiness of his practice. I’m sure other people have had better experiences. As myself, an experienced, educated and professional medical provider I would not recommend him. 1. Poor exam and mis-diagnosis. 2. Unable/unwilling to provide a detailed invoice. 3. Poor bedside manner and not detail oriented. It’s been 2 years and I’m still annoyed by my experience and I hope that writing the review will be helpful to others and maybe encourage him to improve his practice. So happy with my 5 star optometrist who checks all boxes at Sunset Focus Optometry.
Lovely local optometrist. Nice people, very knowledgeable. Open Tues to Sat 11-1pm and 2-7pm
Didn't have the best experience here.. The Doctor was 20 min late to start with. He moved very quickly and was somewhat dismissive. I had to go out of the way to advocate for myself and ask questions, as he barely let me finish a sentence. As someone who hasn't been to the eye doctor in a very long time I would have appreciated more care and explanation of what was going on. They also charged an extra $40 for an eye scan because I did not want my pupils dilated, after suggesting it like it was an equal or better option. At the end they tried to get me to buy their insanely expensive frames and lenses, even though all I need is computer glasses. This may be a good spot for someone looking to pick out some nice frames, but for an annual check up I don't know if I'd recommend.
