Definitely a more corporate feel and a very different experience from what I've come to expect from Blue River Vision (changed because of an insurance change). That said, they did provide the eye care I needed as someone who wears glasses and contacts. No complaints and billing was easy through the front desk and insurance.

The eye doctors here are okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. The billing and office staff is sub par. It has a steady turnover. They are completely unreachable by email. They made me pay in full for my exam then never told me that my insurance actually covered my exam. the only way found this out is that they never mailed me the contacts that I played $28.00 to have shipped from frisco to Leadville standard ups shipping. So after holding my contacts for two weeks and not shipping them after I paid the ridiculous up charge for shipping I said I’d like a refund on the shipping, at this point they told me that they also owed me a refund on my exam at this point the person at the desk asked if I’d like to apply the refund to my next appointment. No thanks!
The front desk staff has had some big turn over and it shows. Friendliness and billing or even actually trying to get your prescription correct is a complete 180 from what it was 4-5 years ago. Be ware if you go there now, you might be getting another call 4 months after youve picked up saying that they've decided they want more $$$ while you're squinting and trying to read things 10 feet away. Definitely not worth the hiked up prices and lousy selection anymore
It was special in that your t echnicians (was it Joy and assistant?) allowed me to watch their painstaking work in repairing my broken frames. Very friendly and cordial. My compliments to your staff.
We were on vacation in Frisco, and my son needed seen. The staff were excellent. We were very pleased with the promptness of getting in, the thoroughness of the exam, and his recommendations.
