On the last day of December 2025 I noticed that my right eye was not focusing properly. I called Fairborn Vision Center for an appointment and Dr. Shroeder was able to see me right away. After performing a thorough examination Dr. Shroeder diagnosed the problem which required months of treatment and coordination with specialist Dr. Pfahler. The results have been positive and nothing short of a miracle. A follow-up examination today disclosed a dramatic improvement in visual acuity to slightly better than 20/25 and still improving. I was concerned about passing the visual acuity test required to renew my driver’s license which is due. After today’s examination Dr. Shroeder said: “Don’t worry you won’t experience any problems with the BMV!” He was right. Today I also visited the Ohio BMV, passed the visual acuity test, and renewed my license. He also said that the early diagnosis and treatment dramatically improved the chances of improving my eye sight.
