Giving 1 star cause I can’t give 0. They try to take advantage of older people who don’t know better. Tell me how with insurance, an eye exam still costs over $100 when the co-pay is only $30 stated in the insurance policy. Then, it’s time to get glasses… oh only $900??? Guess it’s time to sell a kidney. But wait, if you don’t want to pay $1000 for glasses from them, they refuse to give you your PD. I know it’s not required to give the PD out in the state of Oregon, but come on guys. Do better. You’ve lost a customer today, and also the girls you have in the reception need to be trained on how to speak to people. They are extremely rude. Take your business somewhere else please!

Not a bad experience with the Drs at all. Nice people. Great facilities. It's the optometrist that try to rip you off is what gets me pissed! I brought in a pair of sunglasses l wanted lenses put in. Discussed a few different options. As l had brought in a pair before. Which my last total was 104$ for prescription tinted lenses. Great deal. Fine. No problem. They were quoting me 480$ for the same thing for my new pair. Come to find out, they were up charging me for every little add on they could pile on! I explained I was on disability with Medicare and Medicaid. And wasn't able to cover 480$! And was instantly treated like l was a cheap skate. Got kinda pissy with me when I said I wanted to down scale the price. Was told the lowest they could get was 202$ just for lenses. Then was told since l brought my own frames in. They wouldn't be warranteed if they broke them. And then, they tried to force me to buy a new, exact same pair from them for 90$ more than what l paid for my own pair. Just for a warranty! When l said no, they acted like l was being cheap AGAIN! All in all I'm happy with my purchase. But won't be returning. Not a good experience. And sometimes that's all it takes to lose a customer.. ADIOS AMIGOS! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻Will tell my friends too!

We had the worst experience with the Ontario Location. How sad that some people are allowed to work in customer service who have zero people skills and are super disrespectful. If you don't order their $800 glasses, they are super rude and they will also give you an incomplete prescription unless you order with them. They need to do better.

Great experience! I got a piece of metal in my eye and was referred by a friend to Family Eye Center. They got me in quickly, we’re friendly and professional, and remove metal And some rust from my eye without any pain. It was so much better than I was expecting my regular health insurance covered all by the copay. Great experience!
