Hi, my name is Brian Welsh, and I had been a patient at Burlington Family Vision for the past 36 years. After last year's visit, I contemplated ending my patient relationship with Family Vision, due to horrid customer service from the front desk. I stayed on and was going to give Family Vision another chance, as their eye doctors are amazing. However, after today, I dealt with the same horrid customer service associate at the front desk, and have ended my patient relationship with Family Vision. Ironically, my wife ended her time as a patient of Family Vision roughly 2.5 years ago, due to the same associate at the front desk, as the lady highly offended my wife. My wife actually had tears in her eyes, she was so upset. Patients deserve strong customer service, and also great care from the eye doctors. Louann Hartman has lost 2 patients for Family Vision, due to her inability to provide great customer service. She encouraged me last year, and then also today to go elsewhere. Great customer service, huh? She has never had a pleasant demeanor, that welcomes patients over the years, but the last few years, she has been very combative, and has been extremely rude. I was very happy to call a new vision clinic, after Louann's poor customer service today, to get great customer service, and a representative, that wanted to gain a new patient for her clinic. I wanted to rate Family Vision in Burlington with a big fat zero, due to Louann, however I do rate them 1 star, as they do have great eye doctors. I encourage potential new patients to look elsewhere. The eye doctors are great, but you have a 50% chance of getting very poor customer service from Louann, if you're stuck going to her, instead of the other representative at the front desk. Thank you Louann for your pure rudeness, and encouraging me to take my insurance elsewhere.
