I had a horrible experience today, My appointment was at 3:15, I arrived with my husband at 3 pm. Another customer came in at 3:30 pm & filled out her paperwork, the doctor came out & let the staff know he was ready. At 3:45, The staff member then went to the other customer that arrived at 3:30 pm & asked if she was ready to see the doctor. She was escorted back by the staff. I got up & went to the desk & asked why the person who came in 30 minutes after me, was going in before me? The staff member then said, she didn’t know who was next, her mistake. I then said, we were the only black couple waiting for over 30 minutes before anyone else came in, so how did you not know we were next? She said, I will get your paperwork processed now & you can go next. I felt that we were treated very unfair, so I asked for my paperwork & left. I truly feel that the staff is racist, based on how they were looking at me with a disgusted look & purposely made us wait. I feel they were unprofessional & I feel as if they were bias because of our race. I do not recommend this office, especially if you are not a white person. Do not go there!!!

They don't call you when your glasses come in so I just called and they're in a whole different city and don't be back until next week so I don't know if my glasses are in or when I can get them DO NOT GO THERE!!! I wish I would've read the reviews before I went they're rude it smells and seems racist the whole family was there getting contacts and glasses didn't pay a dime and wouldn't even give me my contact prescription without paying $72 I wish I would then after the way I was treated I just hope the glasses come in right but I will never go there again EVER after I pick up my glasses it's now January 11th and they're not in office still and not gone be back until next Wednesday the most unprofessional company I've dealt with
Receptionist is the absolute worst. Zero people skills. Failed to order my contacts, when I followed-up, she said she would re-order and it took almost 2 months before I was able to pick them up because three occasions I went to their office, they had closed early. I called to confirm their hours of operation every time. I asked they be mailed to my residence. I had a scheduled appointment, took off work and when I arrived, the office was closed. I called the following day to ask why they did not call to reschedule, I was told they did not have my phone number. My phone number has been the same since I began as a new patient and should be in my records that are updated every year.
UPDATE: Family Vision should personally thank Debra for this 1 star review becoming a 2 star review. She is the 1st person I've talked to there who actually looked into what happened & explained everything. They do owe me a box of contacts & she said I should receive it in the mail in about 2 weeks. Fingers crossed. **Original 1 star review**They said they'd mail me my trial pair of contacts and I should have them in a week, it's now been 3 weeks and nothing. I've called several times and they can't tell me why I haven't gotten them. On top of that they're only open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so getting them on the phone at all is a struggle.
I had my eyes checked in March 2018. I ordered 2 pair of new glasses and was told it would take about 2 weeks to get them back. One pair came in about a month later and they were wrong. I sent them back then and a few more times it is now the end of June and I have only got back 1 pair that work so disappointed. In December of 2018 I went to another eye doctor to get my eyes checked and found that the glasses I got in June from doctor Posey were from a previous appointment approximately 3 years before so they messed on my prescription and when I called them on it all I got was a smart response from one of his workers. I wanted to speak to Dr. Posey but I got nowhere with that. I will never use them again. I don’t recommend family vision center to anyone. 1-7-20 Well I went to another eye doctor in December of 2019 and got more glasses because Dr. Posey gave me glasses from a old prescription. Well I called the office and let them know and asked that Dr Posey call me and all I got was a smart response from the elderly lady that work for him. I notified my attorney about the situation and when my attorney reached out he did not respond. I use to encourage people to use him but I can not recommend him anymore. Dr Posey shame on you I trusted you with my eye sight and you let me down.
