I had a great experience at Family Vision Care! From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, and welcoming. The doctor took the time to answer all of my questions and thoroughly explain everything about my eye exam. They genuinely cared about making sure I received the best care possible. I highly recommend Family Vision Care to anyone looking for excellent service and quality eye care!

I am a new patient to Family Vision Care Optometry. The visit went very well, the facility was clean and the front office staff were very courteous. The thing that stood out the most was when I picked my frames. I was asked what I was looking for and she picked the frames that met my requirements. I typically don't know where to start and I waste my time and theirs.

If I could give two separate ratings, I would give the staff 5 stars, and Dr. Winnick a negative. My son tends to get nervous around new surroundings, he did absolutely perfect with Riley, followed instructions perfect. When it came to the actual exam, he was absolutely nervous and forgot his letters, Therefore, I could see Dr. Winnick getting agitated, making unnecessary comments, with signing. “ I just can’t trust your judgment buddy.” To my son, and watched my son’s whole attitude shift, and his little face turned red. Which lead to him asking me, how is he doing in school. We homeschool, and as mother, I take their education very serious. My son has a very extraordinary vocabulary and reads very well for a 6year old. Once we left, my son told me, he was sorry for forgetting his letters and wanted to know if I was mad. No 6 year old should feel like this after a doctor visit. If you don’t have the patience’s with younger kids then please don’t work don’t work with them.

We have seen both Optometrist they are very excellent Dr's. They are very thorough with their exams don't try to sell you something you don't need. They Both have your vision health first and foremost. My husband Barry go to Dr Tom Mihok and Jim Winnick for many years and advise family and friends to see them. I also have to tell you about their staff the ladies that greet and check you in are very capable and caring, and your lady that helps you with your frames the fit also the your measurements..
