I have been a patient of Dr. Longar near 20 years, she is very patient and knowledgeable. She always spends time to explain the questions I asked in details. I had done a cataract surgery by her recently, the result is exceed my expectation. Thank you Dr. Longar.
If you are looking for a surgeon for a cataract surgery, I would highly recommend Doctor Longar. Doctor Longar is very patient and explains everything well, where I feel very comfortable. It's often difficult to get an appointment but that's because she is in demand.
Susan Lungar is the rudest, meanest medical "professional" I ever encountered. First of all, Susan was over an hour late for our scheduled appointment. Then, the second I walked into the room, without any apologies for her tardiness, Susan immediately went on a rant, screaming at me, denying me health care! Susan wouldn't let me get a word in. This appointment was clearly between her and her computer screen, NOT with the human patient sitting before her. She jumped to many unsubstantiated conclusions before ever meeting me prior to this nightmare of a visit. Susan completely failed to deliver patient centered care. Zero empathy, compassion, or understanding. Susan literally threw a cruel tantrum. It was all about her ego and biases. Never attempting to actually treat or exam me. Once her dismissive behavior became clear, I left immediately. I refused to sit there and allow her to yell at me. Susan completely lacks the ability to behave like an adult, let alone treat her patients like adults, or with dignity and respect. What a shame. Please retire and let young, competent professionals in to care for patients who are attempting to bring business to Farallon. You're clearly not able to keep up with the work load any longer.
From the start of examination to scheduling appointments esp cataract surgery to the actual procedures for both of my eyes, after procedure & follow up visits….the service, knowledge & compassion of ALL the personnel at Farallon Eye Physicians are exceptional! Dr Longar is a very nice DR. Prep took much longer. Actual procedure done in few minutes. They all made me comfortable. Both my husband & I did our cataract surgery with Dr Longar. I highly recommend her! Thank you Dr Longar for taking care of us!
Dr, Susan Longer is not only a great physician but an awesome person. She is thorough and a true educator on eye health. She takes her time to explain any concerns or changes in vision and gives you a plan if needed. I feel so blessed to have picked her randomly from local Ophthalmologists. The staff is great but make sure you book your appointments early cause the word is out and everyone loves Dr.Susan Longer and appointments go fast. Another great advantage to having Dr.Longer as your Ophthalmologist is the advantage of having an in house optician with the latest designer eyewear.
