Farmington Vision Clinic

Update: changed to four stars because they were able to get the glasses extremely quickly and the eye doc called me. Original review: Kind and helpful office staff and great appt with the eye doc. We ordered glasses and were told 1-2weeks (probably closer to 2) until they came. Waited 2 weeks and 1 day and called to see if they came in and were told due to being short staffed and busy the order was just placed yesterday-2 weeks after we ordered them! Not thrilled since we were told we’d have them within two weeks.

Took the whole family in for check ups. It was a thorough check. We saw Dr. Nickle and she was wonderful. The office lady (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) was amazing. We came in with four girls and she printed activity pages to keep them busy and even gave them small candy. Even though we were there a few hours the staff was great. I truly loved Dr Nickle, I have one child who was nervous and she made her relaxed enough. She was very warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend her.

Today was my second appointment with Dr. Nickle and I am so thankful that I found her. She is incredibly thorough, asking questions that I would not connect otherwise, and even eight months after my first visit it was clear that she genuinely remembered things I'd mentioned in my first visit. I did not have to wait at all when I showed up for my appointment. The other staff are all fantastic. I'm so happy I found Farmington Vision Clinic and look forward to many years of check ups.

My family medicine doctor referred me to this place as my 5-yr-old failed her vision test at her well child check up. I live in Morgan and I have a stressful full-time job working from home with two toddlers, so I had to take the afternoon off from work, arrange for my son to have someone watch him, and drive from Morgan to Farmington to get to the appointment. I had called twice previously to make the appointment. The first time I called I found out that my doctor referred me to the Salt Lake office, so when I called a second time I asked for an appointment in the Farmington location. They assured me that the appointment would be in Farmington. I show up for the appointment, and they tell me there is no appointment, and the only thing I can do is try to drive to Salt Lake and make it for the appointment there. I am furious about it as I do not have the time to come again later.

Staff were all helpful and friendly, Dr. Nielsen was clear and efficient while talking to me and finding my prescription. Two of the employees even helped me find cute frames that looked good for my face shape. Nice little set up!
