My experience was hassle free. Upon arrival, the place was clean and well maintained. During the eye exam, the doctor was very comprehensive in the exam. In addition, the front desk staff, Elizabeth worked efficiently and helped me throughout the process. They also had many wonderful frames for my new glasses

When you sit 10+ hours a day staring a computer screen or phone, you gotta get your eyes checked. Came here on a Saturday around noon without an appointment and was warmly greeted by the front desk. There’s a parking lot in front so it’s easy to park, and there’s a Yelp check-in deal too. They took my insurance (VSP), but also take EyeMed, Spectera, Davis Vision, Cigna etc. There’s a little waiting area in the front,, and there’s a little kids section with toys to play with while they wait. It was a short wait after you fill out the form, and they did my pre-test with that machine that blows into your eye and where you look at the balloon. Dr. Cheung did my contact lens exam and my glasses fitting, and was very friendly and helpful. He made sure to clearly explain what I needed to do during the tests and was transparent on pricing. There’s a lot of nice glasses and sunglasses options (esp. the Tom Ford ones). There’s a gender neutral bathroom available that’s ADA accessible. The office space is clean and spacious, and the decor is well done. Special shout out to Elizabeth for being so warm and welcoming on my first visit. She was also very knowledgeable and answered all my preliminary questions. Overall, it’s a great option for an optometrist for those in the West Covina/Walnut/City of Industry area. They speak Chinese, Tagalog, Spanish, and Bisaya fluently as well, so it’s very accessible for a multitude of people. Thanks for the exam, and see you next year, Dr. Cheung & team!
Found this place through VSP network. Thought I'd give them a try since it's near my work & I am very happy I came here! The Dr. was great, she took her time with the exam and I didn't feel rushed. She was very informative and nice. The workers are very helpful with helping choose glasses that fit your face shape. I was helped by Elizabeth and she was so patient and allowed me to try on as many as I wanted then helped me narrow it down. They have a great selection to choose from and my glasses were ready in about a week :)
I took my daughter to the clinic for her eye exam, eager to ensure she received the care she needed. During our visit, I decided to purchase two pairs of glasses for us. I was pleased with the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. After making our selections, I completed the purchase for $322 and explicitly requested an FSA statement for reimbursement. The staff assured me it would be ready for collection along with our glasses. Two weeks later, my husband went to pick up the glasses, only to discover that the FSA statement was missing. This oversight was unacceptable, so I called the office last Friday to address the issue promptly. The next morning, I received a call back and I was shocked by what I heard. They informed me that there had been a mistake in the initial calculations, and now I owed an additional $185. I demanded to speak directly with the doctor regarding this erroneous charge. The staff on the phone was saying, "Everyone makes mistakes, and your frames are of good quality." His comment only added to my frustration. I made it clear that had I known the total cost surpassed my budget, I wouldn't have proceeded with the purchase at all. I was told I would receive a callback from the doctor to discuss the matter further, but that call never came. I called the office again and learned that Dr. Cheung offered me a mere $30 discount off the total amount. At this point, I just want to return the glasses altogether. This entire experience has felt like a bait-and-switch.
