I have full Medicaid. I’ve had an appointment scheduled 3 times here and never once been told I couldn’t be seen without paying $63 until today. When I asked why I haven’t been informed of this the many times I spoke with them I just got an “I don’t know”. The receptionist had an attitude like she very much didn’t want to be there. I walked out. I’ll be looking for a new eye doctor. My appointment was scheduled for 2:15 today. Check yalls records. Yall have a pretty building but extremely terrible staff.

I have been unable to order my contacts due to not being able to log into the correct account, I reached out to the office numerous times for help and was unable to get anyone to actually listen. I finally called back yesterday and spoke with someone different, her name was Brittany (The 5 stars are for you!!!). She was amazing. Brittany was not in a hurry to get off the phone with me (like everyone else I spoke to) and she actually listened to the issue with why I couldn't order my contacts. She stayed on the phone until she figured it out and got the issue corrected and I appreciate it so very much! Thank you Brittany for being so very friendly, willing to help and actually listening to me. You are an asset to Florence Eye Center and I pray they realize what such great customer service skills you have and how you make the patient feel listened to and cared for. God bless you!
Horrible staff!! Horrible products! Rude to my daughter!! Rude to me. Woman from billing (manager??) was AWFUL!! My daughter went in with DOUBLE insurance coverage and walked out with a $700 bill for glasses that the lenses scratched within a few days. The blonde short-haired woman smart-mouthed me and pretty much told me she wasn't talking to ME even though the insurance is MINE and I am on her Hippa. Ultimately she lied and said my daughter didn't present her insurance when she came in which is BULL because she called me from there to get the info. Woman said it was our word against theirs. Take your money and RUN away from this place. I have never been so disrespected in my life!!!!!
Went there couple years ago. The eye exam was good. The glasses a little high. Went back for recheck no one told me til I get there for appt. that they no longer carry my insurance. Sure would had been nice to know since I drove almost an hour away. Need to do a lot better job front.
Went there a year ago and it was an okay experience. The doc was good. The people on the floor are salespeople. They want to sell you every bell and whistle you can add to glasses. They added progressives to my glasses script when all I wanted were computer/reading glasses. A bit of a miss. A big selection of frames, which was nice. Here we are a year later, I tried to make an appointment, I left a detailed message a week ago and no call back. I called again this week and briefly spoke with someone, and she put me on hold for a good 10-15 minutes, and I finally gave up. I called somewhere else and was able to get ahold of a live person and make an appointment. Why is it so hard to talk to a human and make an appointment at Florence Eye Center? The British automated attendant and I have become very tight. She's weirdly unexpected.
