I researched the cataract and eye specialists in my area. Then I went to YouTube and watched over 20 cataract lens replacement videos to understand the process and options. Most were honest, and they correlated with each other. Some were a bit dramatic, but you only have two eyes, and you are the person who MUST protect your eyes to the best of YOUR ability. All said, I chose Florida Eye Clinic and Dr Hanh T. Nguyen; she had EXCELLENT reviews on multiple platforms. I have just had my second eye done by her, and I am overly impressed with the Florida Eye Clinic, their professionalism, facilities, equipment, superior staff, and PERFECT RESULTS. I had astigmatism in both of my eyes and needed glasses for fifty years. No more. I had the ECNIS PureSee Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) lens installed, produced by Johnson & Johnson Vision. This eye clinic is very good and very efficient. There were dozens of people seeing seen, but the staff was so professional and friendly that I was only there for an hour. Completed the vision test, took pictures to check for problems, examined by the doctor, summarized my results one step after the other. Very little waiting time. This was my annual retinal exam for people with type 2 diabetes. All went very well.

Very professional a little wait but it was worth it I love the personality of everyone I would recommend to anyone I love the Doctor

Bottom line : great staff, great care, poor scheduling and execution. As usual the place was crowded and running behind; we were seen by the doctor two+ hours after the appointment time. Despite those annoyances, the staff is great, kind and attentive— this includes everyone from front desk to doctor. I just wish that their workload was less so appointment times mean something - we’ve been 3 times and it seems like that’s the standard. It seems that the total visit time ( last time 2.5 hours for less than 5 minutes with the doc ) could be cut at least in half with better scheduling and execution.
