Florida Eye Clinic – Winter Springs

This was a new doctor, Dr. Flana Levando, in a new location for us, but we were not disappointed. Dr. Levando is very efficient but thorough. The office is nicely appointed. Patricia, who does the initial screening for the doctor was a breath of fresh air, as she had worked for our previous doctor (who retired) at the former location. Patricia remembered us and did all of the necessary tests while chit-chatting with us like we were old friends. The optical department guy was very helpful in assisting us to pick out the correct frame and lenses. All in all, a pleasant exerience.

Dr. Lavando is truly one of one! I've been living with keratoconus and treated by various doctors my entire life and it wasn't until I found her that I was able to truly feel like it was being treated properly. Not only did she take her time over countless sessions to ensure I got into the best fitting RGP lenses possible, but she also informed me about Scleral lenses and which insurance I should get to cover it. Just got my first trial pair of sclerals and they are AMAZING despite not even being the actual final pair. I've been able to see the best I ever have my entire life these past few years and that is all thanks to Dr. Lavando. Anyone dealing with keratoconus needs to go see her IMMEDIATELY!

Dr. Levando and the staff at Florida Eye Clinic of Winter Springs are excellent... professional, personable, and thorough. During a routine annual eye exam last year, Dr. Levando thought she saw something unusual on one retina, did some extra computerized photographic exam of the eye (at no cost to me) to confirm, and referred me to a retinal specialist for follow-up, which avoided any long term issues. Just completed this year's annual exam and all is well. Very grateful. Highly recommend.

Everyone there was very courteous, polite, and helpful. Dr Levando was able to figure out my issue after 3 visits to other eye doctors. So im very appreciative of finally knowing my problem and the solution to it. Great place nothing but nice things to say.

Dr. Flana Levando, not only called me after hours to let me know she was able to get my AMT procedure approved through my insurance, but she diagnosed a problem with my cornea that I have been to several different eye doctors with this issue since 2019 with no help. Dr L listen to me. I am so grateful that I found her. I will be forever thankful to her for her kindness and determination to help me!!! Thank you Dr L and your wonderful staff at the WS office.
