They are the best. I had been going to mayo opthalmology for years and I know that it's a different specialty but the optometrists at both lakeville and Farmington are highly skilled. I have complex eye issues and I always get above and beyond care. They have helped me more than Mayo clinic honestly. I am grateful.

The optometrist I saw was great. He was awesome. Everything else has sucked. I spent about half an hour with optical technicians on staff that day. They helped me pick out a frame that I thought suited me I paid a little over $500 dollars out of pocket without insurance for these glasses. I only wear contacts during the day and glasses maybe the last two hours before bed. I have a -7.50 on both eyes. Well the $500 dollars glasses broke by just splitting apart overnight without wear. I go in and warranty them the optical technician tells me “I don’t know who was working but these frames are way to thin for your prescription strength” and am told after this I can’t warranty them again. Lenses will keep the warranty. I get my new frames and it’s been a little over three months and they mysteriously broke again in the same spot. Not under warranty now. Avoid this place. When I tried to pick my contacts up several times before the glasses debacle I’d arrive during their posted business hours to find a piece of paper posted on the glass saying they were closed due to staffing shortages at 1pm on a Friday. Or a noon on a Wednesday. Take your business elsewhere/
I'm new to MN and my research for a new eye doctor pointed me to Focused Eye Care. I had my eye test done at their Lakeville location, but then the Optometrist there recommended I visit their Farmington location as that location carried a brand of lenses not carried at the Lakeville location. Amy G. is the Farmington optometrist, and she is amazing, knowledgeable, and thorough and very personable. The front desk team is equally top notch. The initial prescription that was written for me unfortunately needed to be tweaked. Dr. Rian Cleary saw me at the Farmington location. He was superb and adjusted my prescription slightly to give me both better Near and Far distance vision. Amy is redoing the prescription at no charge and that is such a treat in today's environment. Thank you Focused Eye Care! You have a customer for life and I can easily recommend you.
Been coming the Focused Eye Care for years. Only place I trust with my eyeballs! Love Dr. Cleary!!!!!!
I came here for my first time Ordered a new pair of glasses they came in . I went to pick them up and the frames were bent and they couldn't adjust them. They reordered them. Received a call stating they were in but I drove there and waited for for the next person to help me they stayed they were not in. So then received another message stating that they are in. So I went to pick them up. Waiting for the next person to help me but that person was on her computer looking at the Internet about what is going on in the world. I finally got my glasses and there was spots on my lens. I came back to them and a Dr stating that for prisms you will always have those markings. I have prims for my entire years of my life and NEVER saw any marks on my lens. Waiting for a month to get my glasses! Not happy!
