This office is a racket, just out to get as much out of people and insurance companies as possible. With an appointment first thing in the morning, we still waited a couple hours. My husband came in after being referred by a dermatologist to get a stye removed. The aide starts to give him an eye exam and he tells her he already had his yearly eye appointment but she informed him it is required. After she got what she wanted, later a doctor comes in and looks at his eyes up close. After telling him everything my husband has done and the two dermatologists he has seen already, the doctor concludes that most likely he won't have anything removed today and removes the surgical tools that were laid out. The stye is so big is obscuring his sight. We wait longer. While we wait, we are listening through the walls of the other rooms around us and they are being told a wash regimen and warm compresses, and to schedule another appointment. I told my husband I hope he doesn't come in here spouting that same thing to him after we've been doing all that for several months now. Sure enough, Dr. Fowler comes in, says he isnt doing anything today even after reiterating again everything that has been done so far, to do the regimen that his nurse just happened to already have printed out and ready to go, and come see him next month because he only does procedures on Monday and Thursday on the first of the month. Needless to say, the front desk was expecting us to reschedule with them and stopped us as we were walking straight out and not going to give this facility or doctor another dime or time of day. We will never be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Toni Truly Cares About People I recently spoke with Toni, a triage agent at UT Hamilton Eye Institute – University Clinical Health, located at 1068 Cresthaven Rd Ste 400, Memphis, TN 38119, and she delivered the kind of service that deserves to be recognized publicly and internally. I called to reschedule my appointment because of the weather, and Toni handled everything with ease. She secured the first available appointment and made sure my follow‑up was fully confirmed. Her professionalism was matched by a calm, reassuring tone that let me know I was taken care of. I’m writing this review to bring attention to her excellence — not just for the public, but within her workplace as well. Toni is poised and positioned for promotion and goodwill, and her aptitude makes that clear. She leads with kindness, and it costs nothing to be nice, yet she gives it freely. Her attitude speaks volumes about who she is as a person: someone who genuinely cares for others, and it shows in every interaction. A refreshing, five‑star experience from someone who represents her organization with pride and heart.

Our appointment was at 10:30 and we arrived 15 minutes early. It's now 12:10 and we are still waiting on the doctor. Asked an employee how much longer it would be and she stated that the doctor had 2 patients ahead of us ,totally unacceptable. Why schedule so many people at one time. Needless to say we are unhappy customers/patients right about now but what choice do we have but to wait they've already taken our copay. We will not be coming back.
