I absolutely LOVE Fortuna Optical. If your like me and dislike being pounced on as soon as you walk in the door, you'll love it too. I was acknowledged soon as I walked in. They gave me a minute to take it all in as I was looking around at the frames and checking out the displays. At the perfect time I was approached and the process was super easy. I asked for honest opinion and at the end we had a good 10 pair of glasses for me to try on. Exceptional customer service. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. My forever.

I went to Fortuna Optical for a new pair of specs several years (yes, years) after a colleague got hers there (they are fabulous glasses). I kept the name of the store in a note for when I was ready. I didn’t renew my glasses for a long time and finally decided it was time. The shop is small but choices abound. I was greeted warmly, though they were busy with other customers. I noticed that Nicole greeted everyone who was there or who came in after me by name. I told her what I was thinking of trying. She welcomed me to try on anything and everything. And so I did. There was zero pressure. Nicole helped me with fit and size and I narrowed it down to a pair I fell in love with. Nicole was busy but she checked in on me often. Nicole will tell you if a pair of glasses isn’t for you - which I really appreciate, because it’s a big purchase! By the way, Nicole learned my name early on and used it. This is not something you see much these days. I felt welcomed to be their customer. I selected my frames and Nicole told me about their upcoming vacation, not sure if they would have them ready beforehand. I wasn’t in any rush, but I did learn that they make the glasses in-house, which was nice to know! My glasses were ready in just a few days. When I went in to pick them up, I was greeted with, “Hi, Megan!” My glasses were beautifully made. When I tried them on, I was a little unsure because they didn’t seem like the right prescription - I had waited too long to update my Rx! Nicole assured me that if they didn’t feel right and my eyes didn’t adjust, they’d remake them within 30 days. My eyes adjusted in one day and I’m thrilled with my new glasses. Nicole also adjusted my sunglasses (not purchased there) for free, and they’ve never fit better. I can’t say enough about my wonderful experience at Fortuna Optical. You have a customer for life. Thank you for the excellent service, the professional fabrication of my lenses, and the warm and welcoming feeling. I’ll be a customer for life!

I wear glasses as a backup to my daily wear contacts, but I wanted to treat myself to a nice pair. Finding the right style is usually tough for me, but their impressive range of styles and fits made it much easier. The staff was both knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions and helping me narrow down my options without any pressure, including confirming my favorite style before I even said anything! Thanks to their guidance, I found the perfect pair and have received numerous compliments on the glasses. Highly recommend!
