I had an excellent experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was handled with great professionalism and care. The technology they use is truly impressive, and the exam was very thorough and efficient. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for top-quality eye care.
I LOST $1,599.99, ATTENDED 9 VISITS, WENT THROUGH 9 VERSIONS OF SCLERAL LENSES, AND MY VISION WAS NEVER CORRECTED. This is my experience with Dr. Molina at Futura Eye Doctors for scleral lenses: I was referred to Dr. Molina for scleral lens treatment for keratoconus. I started the process during the first week of January 2026 and continued until the first week of May 2026. My visits were on January 2, January 23, February 11, February 13, March 3, March 11, March 25, April 17, and May 1, 2026. Over approximately 4 months, I went through 9 visits and 9 different scleral lens versions, including lenses from 2 different labs. I invested more than 18 hours of my time in this process. The total cost charged to me was $3,199.99. Despite all of that, the lenses never worked for me. I continued to experience discomfort, a “glassy” sensation, fogging, poor night vision, starbursts/halos around lights while driving at night, inconsistent clarity, and unreliable vision for normal daily use. In the end, I was left without usable scleral lenses, without corrected vision, and with almost five months lost. I returned the lenses and requested a full refund. Dr. Molina denied my request for a full refund. Futura Optical refunded only $1,599.99 and kept $1,599.99 in professional fees, even though the fitting process never produced usable lenses for me. For anyone considering expensive custom scleral lenses, my advice is simple: ask what happens if the lenses never work. In my opinion, charging $1,599.99 after 9 failed lens versions, 9 visits, and no usable visual correction is not fair, not reasonable, nor ethical. I now have to start over with another doctor to get my vision corrected. This review is based on my personal experience and the documented timeline of my visits.
Had a great experience at Futura Optical. Super friendly staff & doctor. Clean and efficient. Highly recommend. I’ll be back next year for my annual eye exam.
We had the most incredible experience at Futura eye doctors. I am in my late 30s and have worn glasses since I was seven years old, I say this to share that I have had many visits at an optical, but none compare to the care, attention and friendliness that I received I Futura. Not only were they welcoming from the moment we walked in they were engaging. They were interested in us and who we were and they took so much time and care to explain. I love the little intricacies of Check up appointment. I highly recommend to do the Optical to anyone that is needing a check up, for anyone in the family,( including children) , and looking to collaborate with their doctor to learn more about their eye health.
What a lovely, no BS, easy eye doctor experience. So grateful to have found my new eye doctor! Felt like I was going back to the 90s in my interactions with them. Just kind and personable and honest people.
