Should really look at a quality assurance manual. Every time we have to pick up glasses they are wrong for the last several years. It's consistent. Check the order before making people come in. While it may not be the fault of Gailey, they need to have a process in place or SOP for their employees to be able to check the orders BEFORE having customers come in and have to tell them it's wrong. We can't be the only ones this happens to. It's a systemic issue that should be easily fixed with a process.

Here today for the first time, they were nothing short of professional, very polite, welcoming staff and the Dr was incredible. Got my frames and all picked out and everything went well without a hitch. I wish I could stay longer in this town, thank you for treating me kindly.
Was referred to you guys last year by my primary Dr for persistent eye issues I was having , your guys Dr was able to fix the issue I was having, but now the same issue is back and when I try to make a appt with you guys I’m told no because I have state insurance & I told you guys that last year so I paid out of pocket last year and was willing to pay out of pocket again to be seen but absolutely refused to be seen in your clinic as a self pay because I have state insurance. How do you guys refuse someone’s money ??? Makes no sense! Now I’m stuck at square one trying to figure out where I can be seen and hopefully treated correctly! Shame on you guys .
Update: Thank you for promptly reaching out to me. I really appreciate your concern. I look forward to working with the folks at the Ottawa location to get my glasses corrected. I can't thank you enough. The eye doctors here are amazing, but the optician is not. This is the second time I have bought glasses and had them remade multiple times because I can't see out of them. She calls once (I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt, here) and if you do not pick them up within 60 days from when she first made them wrong, she won't remake them. A warranty on lenses should start from when she correctly makes the glasses and not before. It was 2 weeks since I picked them up (she was not there). Without asking my name or looking up my files she knew the glasses were past her 60 days and those were the First Words out of her mouth when I came in to say the glasses still were wrong. When I asked why she doesn't call more than one time in case I didn't get the message or something happened she said it's not her responsibility and maybe I'm in the hospital and she doesn't want to disturb me. I've come back twice already. I had several family emergencies and trips out of the country. They are a backup pair of glasses (bought 4 pairs with all the bells and whistles for me and my son). I will never buy glasses here again.
Great visit today starting with the woman that took my concerned phone call in the AM. I was able to get an emergency visit for this afternoon. The visit went smoothly from the receptionist/counter people, the technicians and assistants, Dr. Koehler, and the optician that adjusted my glasses all were pleasant and helpful. Although they seemed to be busy, I did not feel that they were rushed.
