The Eye doctor is very thorough and kind. He addressed my concerns. The staff is very experienced and knowledgeable. I was a walk in with no appointment. I was done with everything including picking my new glasses within one hour.

I have been going to Galo since I was a little girl. All my family has as well. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. And Dr Hinojosa was very kind and caring about my eye problem I had today. Thank you!!!
Would NOT RECOMMEND!! Took my 8 yr old to get an exam done due to having issues with her eyes. Dr gave her eye drops medication for her allergies. For 5 days my child continue saying her eyes kept burning due to the medication. I called the office spoke to a manager to find a solution. She stated she would give me a call back asap. She NEVER did. I ended up taking my child to another eye clinic (BEST decision ever) and it turned out my child had been building up callous in her eye!!! And yet the Galo office NEVER followed up or anything til this day. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Imagine if I kept waiting for a call back… this could have affected my child vision. NEVER again will I nor my child come to this eye clinic again.
Very slow process getting glasses. I almost got misdiagnosed by one of the staff because I said that my vision hadn’t improved with the glasses I had received. Staff is somewhat helpful but at times does not know the status of orders. I called today, Friday, to ask about my glasses that have been delayed and they said they are ready for pickup. I had been waiting for them since Tuesday which was when they were supposed to arrive according to the manager Ernesto. I wonder if they would’ve called me to let me know if I hadn’t called to ask. Kinda disappointed in the service.
I have been getting my glasses here for over 10 years along with my family. I would pay around $25 for my eye exam for contacts and glasses. Last week (July 2025) they were charging me $100 for the eye exam and $65 for my daughter. And this is WITH insurance. This is ridiculous!!! I went to another place and was charged $80 for the both of us. I guess I’m changing eye doctor. And its a shame because I was really happy there. And yes, a few employees need some manners.
