I normally love Sam's club, I've been a member there for 6 years. Went in today however and I'm not super happy. I bought some steaks, filet to be exact, and whoever cut them needs to go back to butcher school. Every single filet in the package was cut from the big end of the tenderloin. Which means everything steak I bought has about 20% of the steak that is unusable because they did not trim the chain off. For $24 per pound this is unacceptable. $62 for 4 steaks and 1/4th of it is fat and chain. I guess I'll go back to buying the whole tenderloin and trimming and cutting it myself. At least the price per pound buying the whole primal is lower because yes you are going to throw some of it away. Again, completely unacceptable to have to do this much trimming and waste for pre cut steaks.

I had the best interaction with the lady who was supervising so well in the kitchen/ Pizza area. I believe her name was Trish or something like that, she had a slightly raspy voice, She was truly doing so well with the team, quick, organized, and FRIENDLY to each customer. I had to leave a customer comment, I really had a great experience.

Ordered food for dinner and groceries for Memorial Day weekend. Was notified that my delivery was on the way. I tracked it and waited an hour after it said it was estimated to be there. Tracking stopped one minute away from me. I called the customer care number as recommended. I was on the line 22 minutes and it hung up on me another time for 10 minutes and it hung up on me. I called the store and let it ring for 10 minutes before it was answered. I was then transferred three times without them even telling me I was being sent to a manager. When I finally got to the manager, he told me it was 10 minutes before closing time and that he would work to get my order refunded within 25 minutes but that he has nothing to do with the drivers. He has nothing to do with whoever picks up my order. He does not even know what they look like. He took absolutely no responsibility. He told me I could expect a refund within 24 hours or to call customer care again. No dinner a Friday night wasted and I have to go shopping on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. FYI, Sam’s offers the service but does not take responsibility for it. Don’t waste an hour talking to AI calling Customer Service or the store .

I recently visited this store, and it has completely lost its charm. It truly feels like little Cuba now, and it’s extremely difficult to find anyone who speaks English to assist you. The atmosphere is chaotic—people are always in a rush and constantly push past without saying “excuse me” or showing any courtesy. The lack of manners is very disappointing. What used to be an enjoyable place to shop has become an unpleasant experience. I honestly don’t look forward to going back anymore. Big shame.

I am giving up my membership due to lack of use. I will say I had to do a survey on Costco other day. Sam's beats them out in amount of items offered and wayyyyy more organized. Also the item tells you what location items are. Costco does not have store guidance of layout.
