Glasses are great but the customer service here is the worst I have experienced. I purchased my glasses 👓 less than one year prior from Vica, at the purchase she was frustrated and didn’t know how to ring up the warranty. But said she would partner with her boss when they came back to get it worked out. She reassured me it would be no problem. I let it go and felt safe knowing that in Sam’s Club everything is in the system. Today I came to center with a warranty issue. My frames broke on my face without any incident occurring. Vica was there and the only member there. She started with a smile. Then told me she needed a date to look it up. I told her it was the same day I bought the glasses. She kept asking me about the date and I kept saying the same thing and even tried reminding her about her error at the time of purchase. It seems that when she had her boss fix it, it became a different date. Though I was never aware of that as I had no part in that process. She became defensive and told me I was yelling at her. I wasn’t but I was frustrated. I told her she was acting aloof and unwilling to listen. She then went off the handle. I told her that at this point it looked like we couldn’t work together and I asked for the manager. She told me she would not call for the manager and she would not help me. That if I wanted the manager that I had to get up and do it myself. I got up and did just that. It took me a half hour to get the manager and then to have that manger conclude getting done what I needed as it was Sunday took another 30 min. It was a crazy busy day. The Sam’s Club manager (Theresa) did an excellent job. She kept the focus on finding a resolution, as Vica kept wanting to argue over details that truly didn’t matter and both her and the manager had already found the receipts. The process was easy once we got past that point. When I went back to get her managers name and information all she was willing to give to me was the managers name, Tina Marie. So I will now have to be calling to have them informed on the situation. I DID easily submit the claim information and the process was simple. Unfortunately, the customer service to learn how to do it was the worst I have ever had. I will not be returning to this optical center for my future purchases but will go to Costco as the rest of my family has. The assortment is good, the product is good but service means a lot to me and to be treated like this will keep me and my family away. It’s simply not worth it! STAY AWAY!!!
Today April 15th I went here to check and see what I needed to do about my scratched glasses. I bought them a year ago and also purchased the insurance. The lady with long hair was working. It was 10 minutes before they opened up. She was a very rude woman. She replied Like I said we don't open until 10. I will never purchase glasses there again.
I wish I would have gone somewhere else. I payed $85 for an eye exam. I couldn't order glasses however because they didn't give me my pupillary distance. I went back to the optical department to get my puppilary distance, and they told me that they couldn't get me that number and that I would have to call back on Tuesday to get that number from the doctor. I call back on Tuesday and they tell me they have the number but it probably won't be accurate and that I need to see an optician there to get an accurate number. I should have spent more money and gone to a better optical center.
Haven't received my glasses yet, but while I was trying on frames, I had to listen to the "supervisor" berate and "coach" the employees while in the presence of clients. Highly unprofessional behavior. What happened to privacy and respect?
