This business is a complete scam. They have 4 BBB unresolved complaints. The prices for the frames are a scam too. They put a tag for a huge price and they pretend that they will give you a deal, when its actually not. If you decide to use your insurance, you will end up paying more than what you would pay without it. Moreover, I purchased three pairs of glasses from them and they always had issues with the prescription being too high. Please, please, be careful about your purchase. Once you pay, there is no refund, even if they don't deliver the correct product. I spend almost $1000 for two pairs of glasses that I cannot even use (not to mention that they gave me the glasses with scratched frames and missing stones). BBB or any other business cannot help you to get a refund, so you will end up losing money! The personnel pretends to be nice, but they never return your call back. If you have an order, they keep postponing the date when you will receive it and they never call to follow up on it either.

I have been a long time customer of this office/store and have always been happy, until today. Today i went in because the eye pad on my (expensive) glasses had fallen off. the person I spoke to, Harold Blumenthal, was EXTREMELY rude. He said I was lucky that i could get repairs,etc, on old glasses. does he realize that any optometry store would repair the nose pads, FREE, whether the glasses were purchased there or not. Mr. Blumenthal (if that is who he really was) told me Randy had sold the store. Randy's workers were always patient and helpful. Not nasty rude. Golden Eye has lost a long time customer.

I had the worst experience. I had used them when the other people owned the firm. Used to be great. This was my first experience with the new ownership. I was quoted a price over the phone and when I arrived the man (optometrist) tried to increase the price. In addition he had to make a point that if it does not feel good there is no exchanging them. When I picked up the glasses, there was a smudge on the lens of which I asked them to wipe. There response was " you have a cloth, clean them". Usually you try on the glasses and they look to see if it sits properly, Nothing!! The worst will never go back there again. I would love to let the Corporate owners know but do not have there name or tel. No.

I spent well over three hundred dollars in that place and the customer service experience was horrendous! Rudest and one of the nastiest attitude staffs there is; which is highly unacceptable for a place of business such as theirs. My glasses came in a cheapo case, where the glue was already lifted and coming off. I don't mind the cheapo case because I could always use a case from past glasses. However, the customer service skills or rather lack of it, is what will keep me from NEVER stepping foot into that nightmare they call a business. Granted, the doctor did a great job, only reason why I can stomach giving them that one star.

I have been coming for years. They have very reasonably priced glasses. Good services and very efficient.
