Graystone Ophthalmology Associates

All staff welcoming and professional. I don’t know if there was an acceptable answer as to why I was in two different waiting rooms for about 30 minutes each then into the exam room for another 15-20 minutes before the Dr came in. I was very pleased with him and like I stated the entire staff. I am 3 days post visit and what he diagnosed and told me to do appears to be working. Bottom line for me is outside of the long waiting time I am pleased with the results so far and I guess that is what counts.

As a new patient, I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive. I was especially impressed by how thorough the examination was and how much time was taken to address my concerns and answer my questions. The level of customer service and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I felt well cared for and confident in the quality of care I received. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist.

My experience at Graystone I has been very positive for the most part! I received a diagnosis of 85% glaucoma in my right eye and 70% in my left eye from a doctor In Statesville North Carolina in January 2024. I was not satisfied with his explanation of my condition so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. James Harris at Graystone in Hickory. I had a completely different and much more positive experience with Dr. Harris. He Is professional, knowledgeable, respectful, kind, and compassionate.. He ended up doing my surgery, which was 100% successful to manage my glaucoma. I have stayed with him for 2 1/2 years now and he is always consistent with the characteristics, I just mentioned above. Thank you very much, Dr. James Harris for your truly superior care and helping maintain my eyesight. Dr. Harris‘s main assistant Brittany is also extremely proficient, kind and compassionate in assisting all of Dr. Harris‘s work. Thank you so much, Brittany!

I have always received exceptionally excellent care from all the folks at Graystone Eye-Lincolnton. I am especially pleased to have Dr. Wise in charge of my eye care. His surgical expertise has restored my edvision loss due to cataracts to near perfect. I could be in no better hands than the wonderful team at Graystone. I feel truly blessed to be one of their many totally satisfied patients. Thank you for taking care of my eyes.

I would not recommend Graystone, especially if you value your time. My appointment was at 8:20am. At 10am I was still sitting in the waiting area waiting to see the doctor. I understand each patient deserves proper care, but this was beyond ridiculous. I wouldn't be so discouraging if this was a one-time occurrence, but unfortunately this was my experience during last year's visit as well. I will be looking for another provider.
