THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! professional, friendly, and very accomodating for regular vision needs and eye problems. They know their stuff! I had cellulitis in one eye. Dr. Rachel O. treated me. I received the best care and support. I highly recommend this company. I used two locations, Ruskin and Sun City. Both are geat!!

I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Patel! She’s so kind and friendly, made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a patient. I didn’t feel like just another number, I felt cared for as a patient. She also joked with me and had such a human interaction and I wasn’t rushed! If only all doctors can follow her lead! Thank you!
Showed up for appointment that I’ve had for a year to be told that it was cancelled by someone in their office. That was the last straw. They originally spelled my name wrong, the equipment in the SCC office was too dirty to analyze my vision ( I was moved to 3 different testing rooms before one was clean enough to use) and they made mistakes measuring the strength of my current glasses. There were other issues too. Dr Patel was very nice but their clerical and technical staff made too many mistakes . I never had any problems with my eye appointments before in came to Florida.
I usually have a good experience here however this time I was scheduled for a procedure only to learn that they had not received approval from the insurance due to their late submission. I have IIH therefore my eye treatment is very important, I keep all my appointments, I stick to the treatment plan to a T. My appointments are very frequent and every time I come in I’m being charged an office fee ( which I pay) so I expect that my visuals go as planned. Now I’m required to come in for hey another follow up appointment due to their mistake. Business is business, just like there’s expectations of me as a patient I have expectations of them.
First visit with this Eye Care group and overall it was a good experience. The wait for the appointment to begin and to finally see the physician was extensive but not sure that is typical or if it was just a super busy day. Dr Patel was great and addressed all my concerns.
