I know the Walmart store, but I seldom shop there. During this World Cup, there are many social media clips showing the surprises of the USA, from the eyes of foreigners. One such post says, "Walmart is like a museum"-didn’t specify what kind of museum. Sarcastic, probably, but passing by it today, I went in, it requires no admission -:) Seriously, I use its delivery service several times a week, sometimes twice a day, and I’ve been a happy customer for a few years and will continue using it. And seriously, their dividend is very good. Huge, orderly, clean, helpful staff. All is good, except for the strawberries: they change suppliers often; some are excellent, and some are so-so.

HP INK SCAM I am sure I am not the first, nor will I be the last to post my frustrations with the Hewlett Packer ink scam. For starters my desk top computer, my lap top and my printer are all Hewlett Packer because they do make good products. For many tech shoppers however their reputation is being over shadowed by the new policy and software they have put in place for printer ink. They seem to make up for the reasonably priced printer by extorting you on the price of the ink refill cartridges. While many consumers can afford the HP price, most are frugal and would opt for third-party ink often 50% to 70% cheaper than original HP cartridges and they produce the same results. That is a shopper’s prerogative. Many are not aware that restrictive chip-based locking software has been installed on their printer. Once you install the cheaper cartridge you will discover that the software detects the cartridge is not HP and your printer will no longer print. The most common complaint is the suddenness of the block. Most printers worked perfectly with third party ink until HP silent firmware update (delivered via Wi-Fi) suddenly rendered the cartridge “unrecognized”. As a result, this strategy has already severely damaged the brand name and trust. At one store I recently went to, customers were actively being steered to printers from competitors like Epson or Canon which use refillable ink bottles and have not applied the restrictive chip-based locking software. Here is a tip shared by friend. If you use mostly color or print docs, switching to a laser printer that uses toner will provide you years of service rather than weeks or a few months. This “Penny wise and pound foolish.” move is sure to damage the HP customer base while their competitors see an increase in sales.
Thanks to the manager that was working upfront there today around 3 to 4 pm … she was really helpful and helped me find my phone. I got home and realized I didn’t have it and she checked the cameras for me and told me that I actually left with it all my panicked left and I was quite relieved…. And what do you know it was at home the whole time in a grocery bag I don’t know how it happened, but it happened lol thank you
I would rate this store zero stars if I could. I just left there 10 mins ago. A old Hispanic lady with glasses long blondish brownish hair always asks for my receipt. So today I ask her why do you always ask for my receipt even on days I have only one or two things in my cart. She makes excuses and say because I have water at the bottom that the cases of water is not in the bag. Well water case cannot fit in a bag obviously and all my other stuff were in bags. I said so why didn’t u ask the man right next to me for his receipt and he had multiple items not in the bag. She said because I’m dealing with you. I said you should check everyone’s bag fairly if that’s the case. I don’t mind handing my receipt to you but do it to everyone not just people of color. Legally I do not have to hand them my receipt if I don’t want to. I am educated and know my rights. This is discriminatory that she only asked minorities for their receipt and nobody else. This happens everytime I’m at this particular location. This has happened to other locals that I know that live in Wimauma as well. Management needs to look into this.
We had the pleasure of meeting Andrew in Customer Service at our local SuperWalmart Store. His professional was outstanding and Andrew made sure we were taken care of. We did not expect such service and we hope Walmart will acknowledge Andrew as the reason for this review. Andrew is why we will visit Walmart again! Blessings!
