Grove Eye Care

9/01/26-8:30am-Had severe eye irritation & swelling, due to debris getting into eye days before. Was a walk-in with no appointment scheduled and asked if I could be seen without appt. Receptionist was very pleasant and was more than accommodating to my request to be seen. She called Dr and he said he could see me. Waited only but a few minutes and Dr. Mark MacMillan saw me and examined my eye for any major damage. Dr MacMillan is not my regular Dr, but he saw me anyway. He was truly not annoyed and was eager to see me and verified that there was no major damage and eye would heal within a few days. He took his time and did not rush on his eye exam. Thank you Dr. Mark MacMillan for your care and for seeing me as an emergency walk in. Professional and accommodating! Thank you so much! -Allen

I have been a seeing Dr. Bruce McMillan for several years and he has always been very thorough and helpful. He always takes time to answer any questions I have and that is very important to me. I also was very pleased with the help I received from the optical department at my last visit. Yessi took so much time in helping me pick out the right frames that I am very happy with. The front desk also gave their opinion, which I thought was so nice! All of the staff has always been very helpful and kind with any questions or concerns I have ever had. I always have a great experience with Dr. Nguyen. She is very patient, polite, and professional. Thank you to Anita for her guidance, personable energy, and patience with me when I was their last patient to leave for the day. She answered all of my questions adequately and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience for being the last one there at closing time. Also shoutout to the girl at check-in (don’t remember her name but she was latina and wore glasses), and the girl who brought me back to do the imaging and screenings (don’t remember her name either but she was a young, tall, lady of color and wore glasses). Everyone was so personable and respectful, it made for another wonderful experience!

First time I saw Dr Reese and it was a great experience! Everyone in the Midlothian office is so very nice and helpful. Big smiles everywhere.No waiting. I was due for my scheduled appt the following month but concerned over an issue and when I called to move my appt up on a Friday they moved it to the folllowing Monday. Dr Reese saw my husband for his last appointment and we both are very impressed with him. He is very knowledgeable and professional with a terrific bedside manner. Though we have both been patients of Dr Kiraly for decades and will surely miss him we are so happy to have Dr Reese for our new ophthalmologist.

Super friendly staff - this is the first time that a doctor let me know of a condition I have, without me even going over any symptoms. He immediately could tell I had been going through some things like itchy eyes that other locations would just brush off as dry eyes and kept on moving. Did an amazing job taking pictures, showing me what he is seeing, and then telling me the best way to go about a solution while saving money. Dr. Wong (edited to correct his name) was excellent and so were the people that work with him. Highly recommend this location.
