Do not go here. The office staff is incredibly rude and the office is archaic and outdated - not to mention it smells bad. I am used to receiving a written copy of my prescription post appointment. I had to request this when I was checking out. The office manager went back to talk to Dr. Gulley. I heard screaming and yelling and something being thrown. Then Dr. Gulley came out very aggressively asking me why I wanted my prescription. I said very honestly that I always ordered my contacts online because I get the best price. He was very rude and my overall experience was terrible. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Also, I followed up with another doctor because I believed my prescription was incorrect- it was. I told her about what happened and she said optometrists are required to give every patient their prescription, regardless of if they request it or not.

After moving to Little Rock, I scheduled appointments for my daughter and myself so to establish care with an optometrist. Initial appointment was ok. The facility was uninviting and outdated. Their documentation method is archaic (handwritten paper system). The sole office worker was unfriendly and slow. Dr. Gulley provided mediocre service. My next interaction occurred when I picked up our glasses. As I waited for the glasses, I asked the sole office worker if I could receive a copy of my daughter’s office note for her school. Office worker asks Dr. Gulley. They both address me in a dismissive, condescending and aggressive tone. Dr. Gulley goes on to say that he won’t provide the office note and the school will have to provide a form. As the customer, I expect to be treated with respect. As a healthcare worker, I am well versed on the Freedom of Information Act. I will NOT return to this company and I will NOT recommend anyone. I advise everyone to find another provider. You deserve all around great service in a welcoming environment.

I love the old school vibe of this place. Rock solid service. We've been going here for more than a decade and never have had to wait more than a few minutes for any appointment. Dr. Gulley is genuine, cares about his patients in a way that is hard to come by in the present day of heath care, and gets the job done without issues. The support staff play a huge role in this and are equally solid, reliable, and courteous.

Today I visited Gulley Vision Clinic for the first time in attempts of receiving an eye exam and purchasing new frames. I set an appointment within a reasonable time earlier in the week and I showed up early for my appointment in anticipation of having to fill out paperwork since this would be my first visit. While waiting on one of the front desk workers to verify my insurance, Dr.Gulley comes out to the fron to speak with the other front desk worker. Dr.Gulley did not take into consideration scanning the establishment before he asked “Did the black girl leave yet?”. I am highly disappointed and offended that this took place, and I DO NOT recommend Doing business with Gulley Vision Clinic if you value respectful and professional services.

I've worn glasses for about 20 years and never had a real problem other than getting the prescription right in the lenses until i went to Gulley's in Downtown Little Rock, i purchased a pair of glasses i paid almost $400.00 for them in March 2016 4 months later one of the handle broke off I took them back it took 3 day to repair them which was fine and now i pick them up to clean them and they just broke in half....OMG! i will NEVER Buy another pair from Gulley Vision Clinic again.
