Hembree Eye Care

I have been going to Dr.Hembree for years now and never had any issues until this year. I brought my daughter in for her annual exam to order new contacts and I called as usual to make the appointment and went over my insurance information and confirmed my coverage. On the day of my daughter’s appointment the front office staff then told me something completely different which resulted in a higher out of pocket cost. Ok, misunderstandings happen I guess. Well that appointment was on March 16. I placed my order, or so I thought and paid in full. I was told I would get a call to let me know when they were ready. I never received a call so I finally decided to go to his office to check on my order. Well his staff never even placed my order. Had I not taken it upon myself to check on my order it would have never been placed. Very unprofessional and unorganized staff.

Excellent!! Excellent!! Excellent!! I had originally gone to a place around the corner but they wanted me to do an eye exam remotely so I left. Found this place and I'm glad I did. Staff was great. The owner, Dr. Hembree was the one who did my exam and went through everything. He answered all my questions, did a thorough exam, and helped me find a great pair of glasses that had all the things I was looking for. Price was very reasonable, they helped me navigate insurance and I feel great about the experience. Shop local, shop small business!!!

Great Optometrist! Takes each patient and treats them like they matter. Originally went there because it was close. Still going there because Dr. Hembree is that good.

Dr.Hembree and his staff are the best. They don't rush you through and are honest and upfront about what you truly need to better your vision, not just upsell you services or products that really won't make much difference.

I used to see Dr. Hembree when he was located inside LensCrafters and I was unaware he opened his own establishment until now. Congratulations to him! I’m back now and his service is always exceptional. The staff greets you immediately with smiles and guide with ease. They also have all styles of frames to choose from.
