On the day of my appointment the lady that checked me in was very kind. The doctor was nice however my exam felt extremely rushed. I have worked at an ophthalmologist office before so I remember some of things that should be done. I was not given a chance to look out of both eyes with the prescription she came up with. And when I asked about a reading prescription she said either no or it's low either way like every other doctor before always put up the Little letters to read. That was not done at this visit at all. When I came out to purchase classes. The first thing out of her mouth was what's your price range when I told her I would like to keep it budget-friendly she pointed and said over there. I ended up not getting the prescription that day because I was very confused by with the doctor and the technician I was telling her I wanted computer glasses but I had yet to even to see what my prescription was I didn't know I had a reading script until I said I was going to print it out and come back another day. She also told me that I had no reading rx. When it was printed out and I left with it when I got home I could clearly see there was a reading script added on to that prescription. when I went back yesterday on February 26th the lady that helped me was very very nice and patient with me explaining everything she made sure I knew what she was given me. I did ask her if I could look out of the prescription to see because it is very different than every previous scripts I have gotten she said that was not possible there. I asked her if I was able to look through the thing doctor uses that was also not possible so I am not sure if the script is correct. I was then given my budget friendly glasses turned into $200 pair of progressive glasses that I have never tried before her response to all of my questions were well you have to get the glasses first and then we can help you with it. It is hit or miss here and I honestly don't think I would recommend this place and I think I will be going somewhere else next year. Thank you for being kind. However you guys got to pick your game up somehow if I'm unsure of a prescription I should be able to look out of it again and make sure I'm comfortable before spending that kind of money on a pair of glasses. It's just very disappointing I felt like I was looked at like I was not going to be purchasing a lot I don't know if they work off commission if they do that would make a whole lot of sense. I'm giving two stars for the politeness and for the technician that helped me purchase the glasses when I came back she was very nice. the male technician who helped me the first day get ready for the doctor was extremely fast and I would say not a great bedside manner I have had good experiences here but have also had experiences like this one before. I'm just hopeful that these glasses will be fine and work out okay
The Optometrist was Exellent. Bought 2 pair of glasses 1 set for my wife Gucci and 1 pair of safety glasses for myself. We both loved our glasses, within 4 weeks my glasses looked like they were 10 yrs old. After debating with the manager they are replacing my lenses. Long story short they use a very cheap polycarbonate, there lenses are junk. SVS vision lenses hold up 200% better.
I arrived an hour early(looked at clock wrong) and spent some time wandering the shopping center and when I went back to my car one of the ladies said they'd fit me between patients and one even brought my support dog some water. Dr. Gillette gave her usual attentive and thorough exam, all the staff was extremely nice and helpful which is the main reason I keep going back to them.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The ladies that I've been seen by there have been great to me. They got me in and out quickly no more than about a 90 second wait to be seen then the actual appointment took about 10-15 minutes. It was great easy peasy. 👍👍😊
