Dr Scaramuzzi is GOOD. He's sharp and comprehensive, and will tell you how it is, which I appreciate. He's a great listener, and you can tell that he's seen just about everything. I feel heard and respected by everyone in that office. You can tell that they're utmost priority is making sure that you feel like you're the most important person in that room. I absolutely love Holden Eye Care.
I found Holden Eye Care through the VSP website and called to make an appointment. Their AI assistant was very helpful although I usually get frustrated dealing with the automated systems. I was able to book an appointment and confirm my health and vision insurance were accepted. Initially when booking the appointment, the receptionist put me in for Wednesday (today) when I called on Monday the 18th. I was curious because I had found the practice through my insurance so I searched the web and found their website. It was advertised they had same day eye exams so I called back. The AI assistant quickly helped me and offered an appointment the same day (Monday) at 4pm and cancelled the appointment for Wednesday. When I arrived for my appointment the staff was wonderful and very welcoming. I was quickly seen after completing new patient forms. Dr. Scaramuzzi was very thorough and I left feeling well cared for. I wanted to recommend the practice because they were wonderful and definitely deserve the business!
This was genuinely one of the most enjoyable visits I've had at an eye care clinic. From the warm welcome upon entering to the friendly and attentive service throughout, I felt truly at ease, appreciated and educated. Dr. Scaramuzzi and his carefully selected team, make an excellent team. After such a positive experience, I was pleased to select Holden Eye Care as my new optometrist and am already looking forward to my next appointment.
I’ve been coming to this office since 2009 and this latest crew is such a lovely and helpful team. Dr Scaramuzzi was professional, hospitable and quick to answer any questions (even before I could ask them). Dina, the glasses tech, was absolutely wonderful and even gave my current frames a quick tune up!
Atmosphere and interior design was very inviting. The service was great. A very comprehensive eye exam that addressed all of my concerns. They have an AI answering machine and I personally prefer a real person, I understand trying to keep up with the times though.
